Root Froyo, Tweaked and Enhanced

I see you fixed the calendar sync issue. I downloaded your first release in this thread. Since doing so I finally got everything back on my phone the way I want it, possible to get a hotfix for the calendar so I dont have to redo the whole process again? Thanks again for your hard work and time!
 
Ahh no worries. I think I will just hang tight a bit and see how the scene plays out in the next few days. Not super important to have my calendar working. Have a good night :cool:
 
well i think i am going back to stock. pulled it off the charger this morning, and i am already down 15% on my battery life... in less then 5 minutes. before it would take over an hour to kill the first 10%. that just isnt gonna fly with me. time to figure out how to take it back to stock

It probably isn't calibrated properly considering this required a full wipe. Let it die completely and recharge it and see how it does.
 
Agreed, mine went down way quicker than normal, It may take a few cycles to recalibrate.

Mine went down to half battery in no time, then stayed at half battery a long time, then finally died, i think it resets the calibration logs or somthing.

Gonna try that default lock screen on my regular 2.2 leaked install, i hate sense lock !

turns out that wasnt the only problem. my damn phone wasnt putting out notifications for calls or texts sometimes. id be sitting there and have voicemails and 10 text without hearing anything. i had to uninstall this rom. good stuff just a bit too buggy atm. prolly has more to do with me now clearing the phone before upgrade.

This is a known bug for the 2.2 leak, this issue is not specific to this rom.

i dont see the difference in the 2? what is different that you dont like? just curious.



would it be possible to add the vvm back into the rom? or will it be enough just to save them to my pc and adb push them back after installing the rom?
 
If your battery readings seem to fluctuate a lot, go into clockworks recovery and there is an option under advanced to clear battery readings/data, something like that. Run down your battery to like 30%, then do that, and charge, and your readings should be much better

I thought I had mentioned this in the thread earlier, but it allows programs that are ram intensive to use more ram before they start going through the garbage collection process by the JVM.

How do you revert back to the stock build.prop? I applied the audio patch but now my camcorder locks up.
 
So yeah, I let this run all day...ATE my battery. I don't really use my phone much (Gmail for work, occasional browsing), so I can make it through 2 days before I really need to charge. Today, however...14% left over when I left for work.

Methinks SOMETHING was ganking all my power, as my "Up" time was around 11 hours, and my "Awake" time was around 4. Is that indicative of some app I installed sucking down power? I'm suspecting the new Beautiful Widgets update, but I can't quite Clue it down to that.

It could be BW. I have had it eat my battery alive before. Try a day without it maybe.

I mean really, this is the leaked OTA sans some bugs and apps and a little more optimized. Nothing that would cause any battery drainage (that the leak wouldnt also do). Only app I added was the stock android messaging app.

Oh, I didn't mean to sound accusatory. I really don't think it is the ROM. My two suspects are Froyo itself, or apps. No idea which.
