its my thread, i can do what i wanna :p

so i cant help but notice that your rooted and not running evil erisv2. i highly recommend that you do, 158MB of free internal memory sure speeds things up a hell of a lot. there will aslo be another a2sd capable ROM being released as soon as i have permission from the dev.
might want to talk to your ROMs dev and see if he/she will contact me so i can get permission to a2sd enable that one too

I already ran EE2. Soft keys dont light up. If you ask me, thats a basic function and it should be required to work before putting out the rom. Besides, I get linpack scores just as good on a few other roms.

Dont let the placebo affect fool you :) I saw in your other posts you were raving about having overclock, when in fact it doesnt even work. So... like I said, Placebo affect.

If you wanna see how fast a rom is, get the cpu process info, or run a linpack. Otherwise, its just in your dome. :D

yea, i did jump the gun with the overclock thing, but wo can blame me? i went from using sense on 2.1.3 leak to using evil eris. the speed difference was ASTOUNDING.

Yeah, I agree. VERY fast rom.

If the soft keys lit up, I'd be running it. But jamezelle just gave me Senseable 3 to test out, and I have to say... Its on par with EE2. AND the soft keys light up.

Not to mention the kernel I have which lets setcpu ACTUALLY work. Not for overclocking, but for underclocking which is giving me AMAZING battery life.

would you mind emailing me the kernel? maybe i can incorporate that into the ROM and work that out. would be kinda nice.

and why would it allow you to underclock but not overclock? you may just need to edit the txt file that set up the custom profile.

No, its not the txt file. Their are still frequency locks in the source code that haven't been worked out yet. HTC really locked this thing down.

I'll email you the kernel as soon as I get permission AND if you promise to go easy on these people! They just want help mostly, and I know it can be frustrating sometimes, but we've lost a few good devs because of ppl with condescending and snarky attitudes (not saying you). All i'm saying is, we were all newbs at one point, try to remember that! (I'm guilty of it myself sometimes)

I'll PM you as soon asap.

i try, sometimes my comments come of kind of sharp without me meaning for them to be. when rushed i tend to be brief, resulting in me sometimes sounding like a jackass lol.

and thanks, even without OC, UC would still be pretty damn nice to have.

also have simular issue, running 2.1v3. issure found in all versions posted. Some pics taken with cam do not show when viewing images in the 101media file. when the do show they take long time to load and dont show in gallery. Just the "Grey Box"! Anyone else?

Is there any way to get the HTC Widget for Photo Album to open up to this Gallery instead of the HTC one? Or is there another photo widget like the HTC Album one?

im not running sense anymore so im not sure exactly how it looks, but there is a "picture frame" widget. it looks like this

Thanks...yea...i've got the picture frame widget, but with the album widget you tap it and it open up the htc gallery...if you tap the picture frame widget it does nothing...thanks though...
 
Works great and the camera button works for me as well. The one thing I did notice is that when you open the camera, the only resolution option is small (640 x 416)
