I'm being told I don't have sufficient priviledges to download the the kernels?
Same with me - understand the reasoning but it's annoying.

nope sure couldn't bro.. i tried a few times..but i also heard a lot of sprint users had trouble with that nightly . i have only used 7~16

maybe..we have to find a good kernel guy...or someone experienced in developing or modifying kernels

This might be a stupid thing to say, but once AnthraX is stable and we get permission from the dev, couldn't someone or a team just do a CM9 ROM with an MMS fix?

its a hybrid..it will boot on anything ics..sense, aosp..
but getting permission from everyone is the hard part..

Sorry, didn't mean to be harsh lol. I'm still somewhat new to AF, does each device get assigned a "Guide" or are you guys just global and hanging around?

Guides are an organizational role within the forums. We make sure threads are where they should be, rooting guides are kept up to date, and are an extra pair of eyes and ears for the mods.
There are over 1million registered users to this site, and a little over 50 guides.
If we broke it down into forums per guide we'd be around 12 forums/guide.
I tend to float but I love anthrax kernels so that's why I'm stopping by
most of my support posts are in the evo 4G or evo 4G lte forums
So while I am mostly a noob about this specific device and roms/kernels for it, I can get you out of a jam with the evos

It looks like the vDM client force close issue was fixed in 2.7.1. I can access EPST now.

is anyone else still experiencing random reboots on the newest anthrax?
every kernel i have played with has had at least one or two..in the first day of running the kernel
i am thinking that once you delete thermald and mpdecision..delete all init.d scripts and maybe actually give the kernel a day or two to completely settle in it could possibly stop..even though they are very seldom..maybe one or two for the better part of a day..it drives me completely bonkers knowing my phone does something that i don't want it to..anyone else still seeing a seldom rouge random reboot?

i keep my oc down around 1300..
still experience them from time to time.
I'm hoping that gets fixed soon..i can deal with broken 3d or 4g..but it drives me crazy when my phone randomly reboots...reminds me of the og evo
Permission is not the hard part. Anthrax will be open source as he stated. As long as credit and you follow the GPL guidelines, then it is already permissible.
