From what I've heard HTC doesn't realease their source code much so screw them. I won't buy one

I need the phone but I'm not going mod it. Got word from Drippler.com that it will get ics. Idk if it will be straight away or down the road. Go to market and download drippler app n set ur phone as HTC evo 3d to get up to date info on phone.

FYI, HTC already released the kernel source code for the One V (international version). Usually it's the local carriers that prevent bootloader unlocking or updates, like what's happening with the HTC X international version vs AT&T version.

Only with the at&t version is the bootloader not unlockable from htcdev. And that is because of at&t, not htc.

Apparently 4G will be truly unlimited while 3G will continue to be throttled after 2.5gb.

I think Broadband2Go will be unlimited 4G while mobile 4G will be throttled after 2.5 gb. I only use about 1.5 gb anyway.

I only used 60mb during my last billing cycle, and most of that was viewing the latest tornado vids from YouTube one night when I couldn't sleep and was too lazy to get outta bed and check them out on my desktop lol.
