Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

I thought I was lucky and was getting free satellite radio. Turns out there is free preview going on right now.

My store finally got the Moto X in! I got to pick it up and play with it. It's a very nice phone! But you know what?

I'm swayed away. After the launch of the Galaxy Note 3, it seems to do more of what I need and want my phone to do.

I multitask and I need a phone that keeps up with me. The Dynamic Notifications app in Play will do what Active Notifications does... but then, Note 3 comes with S-window. I might not even need it.

Other than "OK Google Now", the Note 3 does what I need a phone to do. Plus it will be available for pre-order tomorrow. I may have to wait until November to get the X I need.

Looks like the Nexus 5 has gone through the FCC. Snapdragon 800 processor, 4.96 inch screen, 2300mAh battery, supports all bands for AT&T, T-Mobile and SPRINT. No Verizon.

Is there any pictures of this phone? Maybe when it comes out, I'll get a Nexus 4 for really cheap!!

Jhawk, that utterly fails to surprise me. The closest thing to a Nexus Verizon ever got was the Gnex, and look at that taffy pull. No doubt they really don't want anything that is unlockable, rootable and ROMmable. So no Nexus 5 on Verizon? 'Scuse me if I'm not shocked.

I know on T-Mobile they are popular. The guy there said it was the best selling phone for a while. Verizon... I never liked them that much, just my opinion.

Well, they have to allow the new Nexus 7 on their network. But yeah, but what does surprise me is the support of Sprint bands, considering Sprint didn't exactly play nice with Gnex updates either.

I'll be trading my Nexus 4 to Best Buy for sure. The new Nexus, if all the rumors hold true, will be a tiny bit smaller with a bigger screen and I won't have to hack LTE for every ROM flash, on T-Mobile? I'm in!

Where's the reading skills folks?!
Update #2: This device may indeed support Verizon once it rolls out Band 4 LTE (1700Mhz) later this year.
;):p
But, if we do stay with Verizon, I'm slightly more compelled to go with a Note 3 and just lose our unlimited (no way I'm paying for unsubsidized).

I have thought about replying to your post, Chief, but realized any post referencing size will be "that's what she said" fodder and decided against it. :p

The only issue is that the c block regulations don't apply to the band 4 lte, only the band 13 lte. Plus it would still have to have a cdma radio...
