Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Many CSR's do their job the best way they can. Many others, however, lie through their teeth. I've had it happen to me many times, and my sister (who used to work there) said that this was a common practice.

What got me to finally ditch them for good was their overall business strategy. Making me pay full retail for a phone if I wanted to keep unlimited data was BS, and their LTE was getting to be very, very slow.

Thankfully my wife finally saw reason and decided to not continue paying more than everyone else for crappy customer service and slow data speeds.

I'm just waiting on coverage in the two places I spend 95% of my time.;)

It's been 20 years since I tried one of these. They were a staple of my childhood (and somewhat beyond). I was sad when Hostess went bankrupt. So when I saw this at the counter of the local 7/11, I couldn't resist the impulse purchase to celebrate their return :o

After reading the ingredients label, I wonder why I don't have two heads and seven fingers. :D

Seriously happy that they took care of you but I'm surprised the Best Buy rep got it wrong. We do those upgrades all the time! Bullet soothed indeed!

Yeah, really surprised because she knew her stuff but said she was going to take a shortcut to avoid touching the SIM in phone number one. If only I had Jmar at my local BB, I guarantee he would have pulled it off without a hitch :-D

Shortcuts always lead to mistake in activationland.

Curious, what made them come back?

Did Hostess ever really actually close? I never saw their products leave shelves anywhere. I'm starting to think it was just a marketing ploy. Didn't the CEO get millions of dollars as a bonus even as the company was "going under"?
