Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

And here I was trying to take the high road, but you forced my arm. :p

At least Brady never poked another player in the eye (on camera). ;)

To be fair, he's never had a drunken motorcycle accident, been arrested for domestic abuse or shot himself in the leg, either.

I think in every sport you will find management, team, and players searching for an edge. They are paid big bucks to win. The incentive is there to push the envelope, even if it bends a rule or two.
I've spent decades rooting for the Chiefs. I wish they were better at bending the rules. :D

OK, OK, how 'bout them Pirates?

I will never forgiver the Cubs for what they did to Kang. Especially the remark by their coach after the game and then the way he reacted after one of his players got hit in their next game. But as for the Wild Card game, they choked.

Again we're ready for the annual event I refer to as Winter Solti-Christma-Kwaanz-Ukkah ( I'm SO politically correct :p ). Cards are long gone, house is decorated, gifts are wrapped and shipped... all I have to do is wait for the day to undo it all. I was a soak tester for Marshmallow on the Moto X Pure - I guess I can say that now that Marshmallow is being deployed to the phone. THAT was a nice early gift! And of course: 8 days to go and I'll be at the theater watching the new Star Wars in 3D! Somehow our local theater listed a 7:30 PM showing on Thursday the 17th... we have our tickets, so they'd better let us in!

Hope all is well with you guys!

Happy 4th Anniversary to the GNWH! Yep, I've been through 3 phones since retiring Ginny, and yet this thread persists... seemingly into perpetuity. People come and people go, new folks arrive and old folks fade: yet there is something that's been magical about this thread that continues to bind us.

No, the binds aren't as strong as they once were... but we still share a common bond, and that is/was our love for the stepchild phone called the Galaxy Nexus. I still have Ginny in the archives somewhere, quietly passing the years away. She sits alongside my first Android phone, the Motorola Droid. I just can't bring myself to give them up! So save them I will, to show later Chiefly generations how primitive our first smart devices really were.

Who else watching Star Wars tomorrow night!? I'm watching back to back, 7pm and 1020pm.

Still have my gnex in the closet. Some one at work used last year for a couple weeks.

I put batteries in my light saber toy, charge up my block rocker, and am heading to the drive in with some pizza and beer to watch it tonight.
