Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

:p

Pittsburgh Pirates double header today. So tempting to call off.

What a great series! My beloved Chicago Cubs are finally making some noise this year!

BTW,

Hey everyone! Hard to believe this thread is still alive, wow!

Now I'm rocking the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Best phone I've ever had! I'm not a big fan of the no-SD-slot (I've got a 128GB card just sitting there now), but the weight and thinness, not to mention the metal+glass design (finally!) make it all worth it. And that screen! Eesh.

Anyway, hope you're all doing great!

I'm hoping we sweep you guys this weekend!

As with he Nexus 6 I knew the Nexus 5X would be on Verizon. However, I will be extremely surprised if Verizon offers the Nexus 6P.

Hi folks! You guys still hanging around here after all these years? I'm happily sporting a Moto X Pure Edition named Maxine; she replaced the now semi-retired Note 4 Alicia. Who replaced Gina the Note 3, who replaced Ginny my beloved Galaxy Nexus. Making SLOW progress in my office/studio: eventually I'll settle in to write screenplays and get all these songs out of my head. There IS life after retirement!

And oh yeah: I just topped 10,000 posts here after nearly 6 years!

Hope all is well for you :)

Still on the unlimited plan with Verizon? They are raising the price by $20. But you can get a new phone on the device payment plan again.

I am still on the unlimited plan. I hadn't heard that the price was going up. I hadn't heard we could do the payment thing again either. This is the plan where I pay full price of it over the year, bit don't lose unlimited, correct?

Well, it's been a great ride since January 2010 when I jumped on the $9.95/month unlimited data promotion. On all four lines. And it's been a great 5-1/2 years! So I guess if they want to kill our promo (which apparently had no expiration date at the time), I guess I'll count it a blessing to have made bank for all this time.

Chief,

Will you stay on unlimited or move over to one of the other plans? What Plan would you be switching to?

I wonder if this means I have to sign a new contract can I get a new phone for my wife, free. She was going to see if she liked the size of my Moto X Pure, before I bought her anything.

If unlimited Verizon data becomes prohibitively expensive, I will seriously consider either the XXL plan or T-Mobile unlimited. I haven't really priced things lately. I know that the Darling Bride and Sister-in-Law use scant little data... but my son and more than make up for it. I'm gonna have to seriously research my options.

Hey there! Received my Nexus 6P yesterday. Still have last years Nexus with no plans of getting rid of it. Will use the N6 at work and the N6P when not at work. A nice surprise out of the box...turn on Hotspot and receive no warning about not having that feature thru Verizon.

My 6P just shipped today.
I ordered one on Oct. 9 and it was in pending purgatory. When they went back in stock last week I ordered again and it shipped before the first one. For once Google had inventory(kind of?) when preorders went live but shipping has been a mess. One of these years maybe they will get right?

I waited until I saw some full reviews before deciding to get one. They were sold out when I decided to get one. They became available a little over a week ago. It is scheduled to arrive next week.
