I remember seeing the Nexus S, or Nexus one in a T-Mobile store back in 2010, this was back when TMobile gave you choices instead trying to force Samsung or Apple on you. I went with the HTC TMobile G2. I thought Nexus phones look cheap, wasn't impressed with them

Apps are still downloading, so I haven't really had a chance to play. I'm coming off the Moto X4, so about as pure as you can get on a stock phone that isn't a Pixel.
I like the squeeze to do things, like Google Assistant or silence calls and alarms

X4 is nearly two years old and getting long in the tooth, even though it still gets updates. Just scratching an itch.

I heard Punta Cana was great. We did Cancun last year, about to go to Aruba.
I just tossed it on the charger. I haven't done much rooting since either. I had a LeEco something something or other that I rom'd, but only because that was the only way to make the phone usable.
