Anyone unhappy with the stock dialer try exDialer. Mimics the MIUI smart dialer and has an ics theme which sold me. Plus it comes with a bundled contacts app that allows only contacts with numbers to be displayed. Huge improvement.

Cause I emailed on Christmas and had a full conversation with Clay as well.
 
I was just curious Chief as I went ahead and ordered it today from MobileCity. They won't charge me until it is shipped and shipping is free so that made me happy too. It shows that I should receive it the week of the 10th. We shall see. I so need a dock! Actually, I want one of each kind. The vertical dock would work better for me at work but I haven't found that one on sale anywhere. Just the version for the Galaxy S.

The one you're linked to looks exactly like my current "Revision 1" case. It already has the cutouts you see in the pictures. It's the volume buttons on the non-cutout side that need to be altered.

I see. You think they are just old pics and haven't been updated? It does state revision 2, but that means nothing in the world of online ordering :p
 
Ugh I've never liked cases, but am going to try this for $10 can't hurt. I've learned over the last few days in cooler weather when hands are dry the GN plastic is slippery!

I have never been a case fan either but the tpu one is a nice compromise. I don't think you'll regret it for when you have slippery hands

Good idea, Koki: I went ahead and pre-ordered as well. Considering the high demand for this dock, I wanted to make SURE I had one with my name on it :)

Apparently according to callmeox the new case doesn't have actual cutouts on the volume buttons, but they've removed a thin layer of material on the inside so the pictures in the link that you posted may in fact be correct.

I too prefer going "naked," but the TPU case adds so little bulk to the phone I don't mind it at all. And it's also easy to remove/replace the case if you need to pull the battery.

Yes, the alteration was made to the inside of the case so both cases that I have are identical on the exterior. I will try to take a photo of the second case later.

my first night at home on a NYE in about 10 years, but i guess thats what a 6month old(and a wife who works night shift in the NICU) do to you
