Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Congrats to all on their recent purchaes...I'm digging my profile now saying "Galaxy Nexus - Verizon" !!!!!!! Feel free to add me in the google plus circles deal. Trying to figure it out. This forum is what has gotten me started in twitter and google +. Still a BIG TIME rookie with all the social media stuff. Happy Nexmus!!!!

I know a bunch of people exchanged Google+ contact information during the waning hours of the prerelease thread, but I wasn't able to keep up. Was all of that info collected anywhere? I'd love to create a Nexus circle with people from over there (and here).

Anyone else love lte as much as I do? Best part of the phone lol

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I just downloaded the circle battery widget. I click to launch it and it tells me I must add it from my widget menu. I go into the widget menus from the app drawer, but I don't see a circle battery widget there. What am I doing wrong?

At 4 hours and 45 minutes off the charger, I'm at 80% battery. And this is in a place where my rooted MIUI Inc had trouble lasting 8 hours of standby. This is pretty amazing in my opinion.

Maybe this is blasphemy, but I actually don't like the ICS launcher that much. Back to ADWLauncher EX I go. (And it runs great!)

How?? I know part of my issue is phandroid, words with friends and hanging with friends.

I'm so happy to hear adw works! I like ICS but adw gives me more customization

Extended battery and cover for $25! Just ordered mine.

I had to restart my phone to get some widgets to show for some reason.

I wish -- hopefully I can figure out this battery drain issue.

OK, so here's the rundown of going from taking it off the charger this morning until now. only syncing gmail, screen on 50% brightness and LTE on.

Edit: I should add the reason for the network going up and down as much as it does is likely because I work for a local utility and drive throughout the city during the day

Edit 2: failed to mention this is with the extended battery

Oh, I should also mention that I have sync and GPS turned off, and screen on auto-brightness, so perhaps that's part of the reason why my battery isn't draining as quickly as some others. I figure all the data I can provide is helpful.

I have new short term goals in my life thanks to this Nexus.

#1: Suppress giving into the urge to implode whoever the hell at Samsung opted to use the weakest speaker in the world on the phone. I can tell the ringer will be useless in anything noisier than a quiet room. I won't install Volume+ to strain my poor speaker, so we'll see how long I can tolerate it

#2: At least at stock, this is the most useless LED notification light ever. 8 seconds between blinks?? Are they serious?? No blinking to indicate a dying battery?? No way to tell if my phone is fully charged without turning the screen on?? I need to refocus and find some bit of zen here. LightFlow doesn't work perfectly yet, I hear.

#3: The phone didn't come with free bacon. Other than the top two complaints, that's about the only imperfection I can find. LOL!

I might be able to live with issue one. Might. I'm on the fence. If I can't get the LED to work the way I can in Motorolas or HTCs, I'm afraid I'll have to go back to the Rezound (unless the HD RAZR emerges). Give me strength...

I wish there was a way to add this thread to my favorites on the right of my screen. The only way I can is by checking "The Lounge" in general. I really have no desire to see when EVERYONE posts something to the Lounge in general.
