Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Haha, that was classic, Chief.

And time to celebrate another milestone with my Gnex friends... I am averaging over 1000/mo. Steven, here I come :p

So I've been using KeePass to generated random passwords to strengthen some accounts that I don't want people to brute force and to keep my passwords across sites different. Quite cool what it comes up with.

One of the randomly generated passwords it gave me (not using) is: "(:c)[Xf)jz}u(H

Yeah good luck figuring that out.

Haha! yeah, that is a good one! except no numbers, so it would fail many secure password requirement checks :p

I wonder if I can hit 3k before the end of the month. Let's try.
You can dooooo it.:D I was actually going along very slowly following 5k until the N7 forum kicked up. I think the vast majority of the last 2k posts of mine are in there.

Apple fans will buy anything they make :P I guess I should be more active in the N7 forum. I'm sure there's a lot of people needing pointers that hasn't had ICS or JB for 7+ months like us, haha

Oh yeah, there are a ton of folks that have seen nothing beyond Gingerbread on their phones jumping all the way to Jelly Bean. JB is only a minor upgrade for us GNex folks but it is night and day coming from GB.

Yeah and it definitely is increasing people's satisfaction with Android.

They definitely need to get more devices supported for JB though to get people excited about what Android has to offer.

Problem is the manufactures to some extent and the carriers to a larger extent getting the updates out there. There are tens of millions of devices in the wild that could easily run JB if the gatekeepers would allow it.

Sigh, I am being bombarded with N7 ads, they are EVERYWHERE. My wife actually wants me to sell the Acer, and get that one now, but still won't agree to buy it outright. :p

Cut out a coffee a day or something for a few weeks til you have a large chunk of the cash saved and see if she will go for it then.

I enjoy helping in the N7 and S3 forum. I feel pretty helpful and important in those, teehee.

Something to be said about being the smartest person in the room instead of the dumbest. I have to take advantage of it when I can.:D

I'm the same way. I enjoy helping with the new devices and things I am familiar with. The post count has been light lately because most people have caught on to the GNex and haven't been many new users asking new questions. The N7 didn't get here till right before vacation but now I'm glad to provide some imput over there :D

Lol, we sleep with a dog and cat so a king barely fits us all. Of course, the 4 pound dog sleeps sideways on the bed taking up as much room as is doggly possible.

We have a king, and I still get about 6 square inches of real estate between the husband and three dogs (the largest of which is only about 35 lbs.) The two pugs alone could take up the entire bed without even trying.

..on a different note...anyone watch that new TLC show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo"??

Several of my Facebook friends mentioned that show. I had not heard of it, but the title alone is enough to keep me from tuning in.

I haven't seen it yet...the commercials are annoying...it makes it look like one of those trainwrecks you just can't look away from....or that sore tooth you just keep sucking air into to see if it still hurts.

Image is large, but cool.

I know it's not Android-related, but:

Just read the latest PC World magazine and they have a HUGE article (cover story) on the Windows Surface tablet. WOW!

Could I actually retire my 4 y/o laptop? One can dream...
