Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

So I don't know how many musicians we have here but I thought I'd share:

(kind of a long story warning)

When I was a young guitar player ( about 7 - 8 years ago ), I used to go to my moms office after school every day. I used to enjoy it because her boss (rich guy) was also a guitar player and kept his amp and some guitars in his office. Since I was young, I didn't know much about gear, but I fell in love with his amp. It was a Fender Cyber Deluxe amp. I foolishly asked him if he would ever sell that amp to me. He said sure and told me he wanted $650 for it since it was a $1200 amp new. Obviously mom wasn't going to help me out and I had no money so I had to decline. That amp because my first "dream" amp. I had completely forgot about it all the years since but today, I walked into a music store, and to make a long story short, found that same amp on sale for $300 (lightly used) and snagged it on the spot.

EDIT: if anyone is wondering I am using a Schecter C7+ with it (7 string guitar) and an Ibanez RG520qm as well as a hand built cheap strat.

I am a kid on christmas right now! Sorry for the bad picture but the lighting in my studio is horrible!

^haha good stuff.
Growing up, I'd often go to this convenience store with my mom after we dropped off my siblings at school. I'd always get this little garbage pail filled with some sort of candy. Ended up calling it the "garbage pail store". :D Hey, I was 5.
Morning everyone! For those following running Codename, he's decided to join AF! You can find his forum here:
Codename Android - Android Forums
He hasn't posted anything, but feel free to say hi.

Happy Friday everyone! Going to help my dad load the UHaul truck tomorrow for his move to Florida. He is moving to Tampa for work with his girlfriend - kinda surreal since I've been moved out / away from home / at school (etc) for almost 7 years but he was usually close. BUT at least this gives me a reason to visit Florida which always has cheap flights too.

So glad CN decided to join AndroidForums - good job Pup getting him over here! Gotta head over there and say hello.

Also found a sweet new background for my radio last night - check it out!

Yeah, decided to sell the Acer, my wife wanted me to, she even agreed to let me take the laptop for my class on Fridays so my need for the USB port goes away. Plus is tax free weekend, so got the 16gb for $246 out the door from Sam's

Good morning everyone! Happy Friday!! (I know some of you work Saturdays, and maybe even some Sundays, but Friday is traditionally a happy day.)

Am I the only one left without a new toy ? Aka - N7

Heck of a deal Anti! Congrats! You're absolutely going to love that tablet.

Good morning to all! Glad it's Friday!

Has anyone seen the work this one person was doing with the Nexus integrating it into a Dodge Ram dash as an infotainment system?? I forgot where I saw it, so if it was here forgive me for bringing it up again.

Hey all hope everyone is having a good week.
We are busy getting wedding stuff done, and I have 1 more project to finish....an led light set, controller and hanging canopy/frame for that fish tank friend I was helping...

However...today was not so great. I had received some news from my oldest daughter about a week ago...and apparently she is having a hard time dealing with it. Ever have one of those days where you wish you could protect your children just a little longer..especially when you realize that they are having a heck of a time dealing with life? Oye...anyways thanks for letting me vent...just ready for this day to be over...bring on the cheer tomorrow!! Closer to the weekend....I hope!!

Good luck to you and your daughter. The truest expression I know is that a parent its only as happy as their unhappiest child.

Happy Friday everyone. Was a busy trifecta this week. Anniversary followed by son's sixteenth birthday followed by daughter leaving to go back to college.

Still found time to flash CNA with Franco kernel. :)

Morning all! Hope everyone saw the links above, there are some good ones there. Perhaps I'll go back to posting in the afternoons instead of at night? Anyone have input?

Also, a little rant: I was on the way into work this morning, reading the free Boston paper. I was flipping past the gossip page as usual, but something caught my eye. It was a quote from Justin Bieber about the UK's Prince William losing his hair: "I mean, there are things to prevent that nowadays, like Propecia. I don't know why he doesn't just get those things. You just take Propecia and your hair grows back. Have you not got it over there?"

Hate that everything that comes out of that kid's mouth is considered news. Blech.
