WINDOWS cellphone nightmares experiencez I would love to share with microsoft! I wouldnt EVER go back to windows phones! Most expensive mistake I kept repeating till I saw the light!

Right now all of my windows phones are resting in pieces in Cell Phone SIMetery!


(betcha thought I was about to.complain about androids! Naaaah!)

I flashed the stock recovery..... I deleted the OTA data, and let the phone find the update again, when I let the phone reboot to install the update it failed again with the downed Android.... Here is what it says:
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Installing update...
Verifying current system...
assert failed: apply_patch_check("/system/app/ApplicationProvider,apk","13b2f4b91d21fdff3e72f63745255dd4d9c1a","08db09578758c61cf5c8ec895b1331a5fa4cc349")
Instalation aborted

It sounds like a system app is either disabled or deleted. If you go under apps in settings, scroll over to the all heading, then scroll all the way down to the bottom, is there anything marked as disabled?

Yes, Google Current & Talk are disabled... would these be considered system apps since they are default programs on a stock phone?

Nevertheless, I enabled them and re-ran the update and install....:( same thing.....
 
Thanks! Yeah, we haven't taken christmas pics with the kids yet, and everyone else has something festive, so I found what I could.
 
I am getting a fail on language download every time... nevermind, I got it.

Dread - watched that, got mixed feeling on it. Perhaps it is just the trailor, but it just doesn't scream out star trek to me.
 
Actually, it did take me a couple tries and the download was SLOW (on 4G), but it stuck eventually.
My guess is their servers are getting slammed now?
 
Alright let's see how this works. Wow works pretty good. So far it has gotten every word right. Yep I like it. :)
 
I've been enjoying Slide It, but with all this excitement I'll try Swift Key again. I used to enjoy it's predicative nature, but I liked the ability to slide.
 
I am trying it out for the day. I've always liked Swiftkey's prediction ability, but I always preferred the layout of the stock keyboard. One thing the stock keyboard didn't do that this does is it can delete part of a word and not the whole thing if you made a mistake.
