Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

I'm thinking of switching to sprints galaxy nexus in the next couple months. Looks like a pretty sweet phone and one hell of an update from my ZTE warp.

Your thoughts guys?

Honstly try your hardest to get a nexus 4 from the play store
its a newer phone with updated sepcs and will have a very large development community behind the phone and it will work with sprint network... the only down side to that would be the no LTE (as of now) but if that is not an absolute requirement go with the nexus 4 at 299$ off contract price

Nothing like finding a few unrepresentative cases to drag a competitor through the mud.

My favorite is this little gem "I bought this phone on release day, only to find out a few months later it was never going to be updated, and even the new apps weren't going to be compatible anymore". Oh wait. :p;)

Morning all... Been lurking, but not replying much for a few days. Busy as heck around here.
Headed out to Austin tomorrow, see if we can find a house to rent. Busy busy at work training new people to cover our jobs while we are gone this week as well as at the end of the month while moving... Packing... Etc.
Got our new tv this week! Absolutely love it. The colors and clarity... Excellent! The wife said she likes the small bezel, and that the picture is the full tv. Guess we did not realize how cropped the old tv looked till we got this one. We ended up with the UN46EH6030.... Love it!
Happy Hump Day to all!

So went running last night, and I am very pleased with our neighborhood's participation in christmas lighting. Almost half the homes have at least something, and there is probably 2 dozen that have full house and landscape lighting. I would say it was very Christmasy, except I was running in shorts and a t-shirt :p

Welcome to Android Forums M Ixadi:)

You probably have a custom recovery loaded on the phone. Get this app (free and written by another mod here)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=sa.root.toolkit

One of the options in there will tell you what recovery you have installed and another will let you flash back to the stock recovery (which you need to have in order for the OTA to install).

I hope this helps. If you have any additional questions, feel free to ask.:)

Hello AF family! Gotta say I am loving swipe to delete from the message list in the Gmail app. It's becoming a can't do without.
