Some fantastic football last night. Wife just rolled her eyes, put on some headphones and watched some shows on the laptop while I was yelling at the tv. :D
 
Morning all... Just an fyi. Jelly Belly just rolled out v12.0. Works wonderful with Lean Kernal 5.7exp...flawless and smooth and buttery!
We had our first friends-bbq last night since we arrived. Good food and friends make the move so much easier! Going to make an Ikea trip today... Gotta get a couple of book cases and lamps to fill up the new house. Otherwise just a day to chill... Considering it's about 35 degrees, I mean that literally. Lol

Ikea is one of those places... Well we used to have to drive 2 hrs to get to one, and I had never been till about 4 years ago my, now wife, took me. Now, we have one within 15 min of our house. Kinda dangerous, since we have never spent less than a half day at one before, but they have great stuff. A lot of our furniture came from there since we refurnished the house about 3 years ago with Ikea. Now we have a chance to keep doing that! Going to be fun!
 
Dreary day here today. Waiting for my two sisters to get here. Myself and the oldest sister are taking the other out to dinner and a movie. The birthday girl picked Texas Chainsaw.

I never got to watch football last night since I work Saturday nights and it looks like I won't get to see any games today either. All I have to say is.....favji%-#-(>* you Ravens.
 
Hi everyone! I've had a couple of very busy days (not complaining). Went for my hair appointment on Thursday morning and ended up working there all day (from 9:30am till 9 pm!) and then again on Saturday (thankfully a shorter day). Friday was errand day with my Mom. She can't drive any longer so I try to do as much with/for her as possible. And in my "down time" I was helping my friend update her scrapbook store online because of the new releases from the winter trade show. I missed you guys/gals!!!!! Hope everyone is doing well!
 
For the slasher movie fans. I enjoyed Texas Chainsaw. The first few minutes were from the original and then it picked up right were it left off. And as usual with these movies, I laughed.

I saw the trailer for Evil Dead. It looks fantastic!
 
Halon, are they going for the ED2 motif (comedy horror if you will) or like the original? Couldn't tell from the trailer.

Anyone catch the Golden Globes last night? I know, it was quite the snooze fest as usual, but some good acceptance speeches, especially from Jodie Foster. Winners were pretty easy to predict as well. :rolleyes:
 
Morning folks. Been extremely busy lately. Hoping this week is closer to normal for me, but I know it'll still be busy here at work. Hope I can get back to my duties here :)

I do see Cheif's son has had a procedure of some sort though, hope he's back to 100% soon!!
 
Morning all! Wow what a game for the Falcons. Oh well, they will lose next week, as that has been the story for my wife's teams this year, Georgia Southern and Georgia both lost in heart breaking fashion one game away from the championship. So now it's the Falcons turn. :p
 
Yeah, that new QB for San Fran looks amazing! Gonna be a great game. :)
Even better is watching the Pats decimate Baltimore. ;):D

Edit: Crap, Pats have quite a bit of injured players. Woodhead and Gronkowski are out. :eek:

The playoffs for me are all about fun and hoping the Patriots lose, lol. Haven't had a chance to root for Buffalo in the playoffs in like 14 years. :( Management can't get their act together. It's tough /embarrassing being a bills fan. :o
 
Have to say it is "fortunate" to be a Pats fan. ;)
Yeah, Buffalo really is going through some tough years (decades! :p).
The AFC East hasn't been terribly competitive for a while. Jets had a pretty good run a few years ago but with Buffalo and Miami thrown in there, the Pats, as long as Brady is there, generally sweep.

It's true, but at least the jets will forever be associated with Sanchez's butt fumble. :D
 
Don't know who to pull for in the NFL now. Was rooting for the Broncos, but they're out now. Each of the 4 teams left has a contributing player on the team from my college's 2009 team, so tough call.
 
That's what I thought. Been forever since I've seen either. Wonder what sort of cameo Bruce Campbell will make? Hopefully he does. :)

Whoah, just watched the Red Band trailer. That looks insane! :eek:
 
Good morning all - happy Monday!

Busy day today with tons of meetings so everything has been keeping my busy.

Went to The Melting Pot yesterday with the fiancee and boy was it delicious. Very gimmicky, but delicious and filling. If you find a Groupon for it I highly recommend it.
 
Never been to a Melting Pot. We used to have one in the town I lived in in NC. Closed down though (it's a cursed location). Does sound delicious, but like you said, pricey!
