Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

So ended up seeing The Raid: Redemption. Fantastic fight scenes. Also have never seen that much cursing in a foreign film (English subtitled). Soundtrack was solid too, done with a guy from Linkin Park.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Shawshank Redemption. It's my number 2 favourite movie of all time.

+1 One of the best movies of all time. The Green Mile is right up there, too. A lot of King's books don't adapt well to movies, but I still try and see them all (he's my favorite author).

Bad day at work, just got a ton of stuff piled onto a task that was nearly finished. I hate that soo much.

Sorry to hear that. If it makes you feel any better, I've got two onerous tasks staring me down, and choosing which one to pick up and work on each day is a little like choosing between being trampled by a herd of stampeding horses and being stabbed repeatedly with a spoon.

The spoon sounds better.

Anyone using the Team Win Recovery (TWRP) through Goo Manager? I have only ever used CWM. I like that I could use the Goo Manager App to install my ROM's right from the app, and it seems to work better than what it does for ROM Manager, which I have always had to flash through CWM.

Thanks!!!

Morning everyone!
Looks like it was a ghost town in here last night. Hope you all were having a fun hiatus from AF. Off to work shortly, have a great day all!

Morning Anti,

I've been thinking of picking that up. Is it Blue Ray worthy or should I save the money and just watch it in upsized DVD?

Hmm, good question. We got the bluray, but watched it on our bedroom tv, which is only 720p. I don't see a need for the bluray really.

If I can find the combopack I'll go with that. The kids can trash the DVD copy and I still have one to watch for family movie night.

We rented it out of one of the box rentals on DVD and I didn't suffer from watching it, but then again it was only on our bedroom tv. Might would have been a different story on our 42" living room tv. But neither of ours are 1080p either...720 only. I would think you'd be ok with DVD for this one. Really nothing in the movie worthy of blu-ray.

Good morning all and happy Wednesday (hump day to those celebrating it). Slowly getting my car figured out - my friend took two wheels to work to try and remount two tires to see if he can get them to stop leaking. We'll see what happens with that. Right now I'm calling my car the mullet, business in the front party in the back.

Also making nice progress on my iOS app - working on the settings now and then need to finish some logic and test. Then it will be up in the app store for download. I have to admin that even native iOS elements are nice looking.

Late to the party but VW does indeed own Lamborghini as well as Bugatti and Audi. Fun fact, the Gallardo shares the same VW-derived 5.0 liter V-10 with the Audi R-8. Funny to think the same company that produces the ultra efficient Jetta TDi also oversees production of the ~$2M, 1200hp, 265+ MPH, rolling piece of engineering that is the Bugatti Veyron SuperSport.

And VW's 2.5L I-5 engine is exactly one half of that motor - it's whats in my car.

Haha, the mullet! Maybe he can get them mounted with no leaks

Making nice progress on the iOS app. I've got a question regarding Android dev I'll shoot you in a PM if you don't mind throwing me a bone.
