Install Gapps Kejar 07-15-12
Fix Permissions
Reboot System and put the phone DOWN! The first boot-up takes a long time!

Samsung galaxy watzit?
Its nice. In fact on the way back home my nexus totally dropped its signal and the one x kept it. Now, no 4g LTE service from AT&T here and I may need to get a network extender, but so far so good. At the house, it don't work down stairs (expected), but upstairs I hit over 3mbps download. The camera seems decent. It feels good in the hand. I just cleared all the bloat off the screen.
Now, there is a bit of a quirk and thats with the wifi and AT&Ts hotspot. The phone will automatically detect these and log into them. The only way to stop this is to turn wifi off (can while I am out of the house) Now this is bad because all the devices at the AT&T store was on the wifi and NONE of them loaded squat! Not good if you want someone to shell out nearly 500 bucks on the device. So when questioned, they explained this. Would of been nice to know before hand.
The stock keyboard has GOT to go. I putting thumb keyboard back on it. I just turned off the censor feature, hells yes, I did

The question now is, how long can I resist rooting and unlocking her bootloader?

The DropBox app gives a shortened URL that does not play nice with AF. I haven't had time to play with it to figure out out to get a real URL out of it.
Thanks Pup! I just looked at it myself and I am uncertain what is causing it. From my laptop, if I right click a pic in the public folder, I get a long URL and the option for a short one, both work. If i compare the short URL from the computer to the URL on the Nexie for the same photo, they are completely different numbers, but the same format. I can email the DB app URL on the Nexie and the pic appears fine. It only does not seem to appear in our forum.

I have never themed a phone before, so I'm a bit perplexed. Yes, Xenon 5 is great and rocking a theme chooser. Yayyy. I now know that I have to DL and install themes from Play. But when I go to Play, virtually every theme there is for T-Mobile devices. Does that matter? Will the appearance of the phone actually change the operation of the radios? Or is it for all Nexi and the dev is trying to confuse me?

Root that HOX, put the camera mod on it for lower jpg compression, and then get the Linkify fix that reverses the Apple edict on how your links act.

Evan just called Captain Ron to say thanks. Very nice conversation except Evan said what he wanted and handed the phone back to me while Ron was talking. I wouldn't hesitate to do that type of swap again. I failed to mention ealier that he used navigation maps as wrapping paper, and on one of them, located our house. Evan loved that.
