Summer isn't over until September 1st :) Then it's college football season! There are 4 seasons:

College basketball season (aka winter...blek!)
College baseball season (aka spring, hooray!)
Summer (blek)
College football season (aka fall, hooray!).

Fall is actually my favorite holiday, I hate summer. :p Can't wait for pumpkin-flavored everything and apple picking/apple cider!

Anyone familiar with a Droid X? My coworker thinks he has a virus of some sort. Said the other day he unlocked it and the "screensaver" as he put it was some sort of porn advert. :eek: Said he hadn't downloaded any apps lately but he does let his kids use it from time to time.
Well, he tried rebooting it but it hangs at the "Droid" animation. He's completely stock (not sure if on 2.3 or not). I did a few battery pulls and attempted to get into recovery but couldn't. I think part of it is a bad battery or it wasn't charged completely but he said it was on the charger all night. I'm kinda the resident Android freak at work so I'm hoping I can help him out.
Thoughts?
(btw, I'd ask in the DX forum, but seems to be pretty dead there)

I've done this before on my DX. But the method depends on the version he's running.

For some it's:
1. Turn your phone off.
2. Hold down
 
The firemen looked like they knew it was coming. The officers running the camp did not. I wish i could have gotten the pic of their faces as well.

And yes. Avatar is very reflective today

Hey, does anyone here use Reddit? Stigy, I think you do, right?

I decided to sign up for an account there, but the interface is a little overwhelming - everything looks disorganized and there are seemingly infinite subboards. How am I supposed to make sense of any of this?

Yeah I do Reddit.

Basically the front page is all the default subreddits that Reddit thinks people should see. You can add different subreddits to your front page to make it more customized to you.

There are HUNDREDS of sub-reddits but that's the fun in it.

Check out reddit.com/r/android - you will see a +Frontpage button in top right (I think) and it will add Android sub-reddit stories to your front page ordered using their voting algorithm.

It is kinda confusing at first, but its amazing how much stuff is on there.
