Morning guys and gals!
So Sourcery really is that good eh? I'm still on CNA 3.3 (I think) and pretty happy with it, but maybe tomorrow I'll give Sourcery a shot.

Unfortunately for me, JB Sourcery is Verizon only.

Today I turned 32. I am beginning to feel old.:banghead: 2 not even 2 and 1 year olds and a 9 year old wear me out.

Razor - Google now can be accessed from the lock screen by bringing the lock straight up and from your home screen by holding the home key and swiping up.

Morning all! Hurricane Isaac is predicted to hit New Orleans directly on the 7th anniversary of Katrina. That is messed up. Hopefully the levees hold and its a lot weaker than Katrina was.

Hope everyone had a great weekend, mine was short, busy, but pretty fun. My church has a family worship service on Sunday nights that is geared towards kids and parents together, my kids love it. Plus we had a pool party that afternoon, which was great.

Happy Birthday jhtalisman. Don't feel bad, I am 4 years younger and I am worn out by my young ones and have been for 2 years now, so its not an age thing ;)

Morning all!!
Hope everyone's weekend was good. We are still reeling after news that our jobs are moving to Texas, and were not very productive this weekend. Instead we spent some time with friends, discussing options and getting suggestions. Discussing with family went better than we expected...just not sure how to think right now. Although we did find out that we need to have a basic decision by the Monday after our Saturday 9/22 wedding...

Seriously, my first time going to CA (being East Coast bred), I literally thought it was a different country. :eek: Only driven through TX so can't say a whole lot about it that I know.

Good luck making that decision! Its scary and daunting but make sure you weigh all your options. And I don't think I knew before today that your wedding is on my daughter's birthday!

I'll second BabyBlues. Conventional wisdom is to always flash ROM, gapps, then reboot before flashing any mods or kernels. I'm pretty sure if you don't do that way hell will freeze over and dogs will be sleeping with cats.

As far as kernels, I had a lot of luck with LeanKernel on ICS, but since being on JellyBean my battery seems to do better with Franco. Of course, every phone is different.

I restored my apps via TB on Sorcery with no ill effects (other than the fact I can't stop drooling, have a twitch in my left eye and can't pronounce the letter "L".)

Hi dread, I switched from CNA, which i loved, but Vicious is great and hey, there are a lot of us on it, keeps us all connected, lol

Morning Anti, I agree, it is messed up! We are on our way back to the coast tomorrow. Its been a great summer in the mountains but we can't wait to get back to the ocean. It may be hurricane season, but the next 2 months are the best on the Carolina Coast!

Yeah, definitely. I was exploring some of the settings and gave it access to pretty much everything, but it still shows me the "sample" cards. Will those disappear eventually?

PS. Thanks to everyone that helped me last night :)
 
Sorry, I was a little confused - it's not the sample cards, it's the one card that says "Cards show up here when you need them". What I need is for it to go away, it's covering my other cards! XP
 
Argh, stayed up too late last night flashing this ROM - I'm dragging today at work. :p

EDIT: Went and got one of these; for any other non-coffee drinkers like me who need something in the morning, this stuff really gives you a kick in the pants:
