CHANGED FROM AF ADDICT MIKESTONY
Well, that test was WAY too long, most people were pretty pissed about it, but I felt I did relatively decent on it. We'll see I guess.

Anyone have any thoughts on upgrading from windows 7 to windows 8?
As if Robin and Speaktoit Assistant needs competition... but if you're really into Nuance's Dragon voice recognition, here's their foray into the Android assistant world:
Dragon Mobile Assistant
Apparently a good foundation for a solid app, but room for improvement and a lot of it.

I love technology.
The good thing is, you can still get back to the regular desktop pretty easily...so it's going to depend on what other features and support was added. May research that a little today.
Look to see it later in November.Bummer Dread.
I agree, do they not look at the market share? Android has a much bigger user-base, and yet its the Apple apps which are given the most focus by many of these companies.
Well, figured out what my issue is with my Chromebook order. It's backordered.Look to see it later in November.
Edit: Now I'm reading these glowing reviews on Amazon and BB. Really want this guy!
In the past, we have been known to implode, but not in recent years. It may happen tonight, but I don't see it. I know the players and coaches are sick of hearing it because us fans sure are.Is there an actual and practical reason for this? Or is it just habit in this tech-age? We were just talking about this the other day. One comment from an avid i-device user was that the i-devices and apps will always sell... But that if the devs don't keep up their app falls to meaninglessness, AND then they can lose their apple dev status.... Whereas with Android, the devs can put out more options, less updates, less work overall and still stay important? Maybe Stigy can comment too? As an avid android and Win user, this is sometimes pretty frustrating!
The nav bar just looks horrible on a 10" device having it all centered.
And I know a few of you have the Nexus 7's and I've looked at comments here and there but my best friend's father in law wants a non apple tablet and they want to give him one for his birthday (early December)......is there anything I should know to tell her that is not good ?
As for Apple vs Android apps the only thing I can ever come up with is that iOS is pretty standard. They do one big update a year and then developers can work with that. As much as I love Android there are still a couple different versions and some things are compatible with this and not that, or older hardware can't run something as well. I'm not knocking Android at all cause its my favoritest but its that its more fragmented in OS.
If your father in law is into ROMing (or you could help him), putting on "tablet mode" really helps open up screen real estate. It's not perfect, but I personally prefer it.
Agree with that 100% Most ROMS for it now have a force tablet mode while keeping the same LCD density which is MUCH MUCH better than changing the density to force tablet mode.
Hmm, haven't messed with changing PPI density and just forcing tablet mode with CNA. Is there a big difference?
I noticed that yesterday. Why isn't the nav bar over on the side when in landscape mode? It would look so much cleaner and I would think more practical since most of the time you hold it on the sides.
