Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Evening all of you Watering Holers! Watching Revolution tonight and trying to figure out how to set up Tasker to re-start Nexie each morning automatically. Any guidance from my friends?

Can't imagine my wife would ever want to do it (she's not the outdoorsy type). Don't think I could do it alone though. Still always wishing.... :)

Evening Dread, I am an avid hiker and belong to a couple of different hiking clubs. In the summer, I hike about three days a week all over the mountains of North Carolina. I have a couple of friends who have done the AT as a thru hike and others as section hikers. In fact, one friend in her 60's, finished the AT as a section hiker this summer finishing up the last 200 miles. As much as I love hiking, I really love a hot shower and a cozy bed after a long day hiking. You might enjoy the book "A Walk in the Woods" by Bill Bryson.:)

Can you believe it? Ten years of retirement and I can still fit in the uniform I mustered out in back in July 2002...

I saw an article in one of the magazines in the grocery store that it wasn't renewed. :(
I hope it was for your sake though.
 
Very nice of you Captain, and I am truly flattered. But I have no opinion of "modern" television programming. I just don't watch any of that stuff. None whatsoever. The Darling Bride is fond of crime shows, but I pretty much stay off the TV :)

Well the show takes place on a boomer and I find the interaction between the officers and enlisted difficult to swallow. Granted, I was in the Air Force so according to some we aren't "really military" but still....
 
Speaking of Revolution. I stopped watching after the third episode just because of other things. I am now just watching the latest episode and watched the others ones earlier today. The girl that is going after her brother was annoying before I stopped and is still annoying.

True about the girl, but I enjoy the "Lost"ness flashbacks and intertwining of the characters. My teenage son probably just likes it for the the fighting.

And like Lost, I like the fact that key people die on the show. When you watched Bonanza (Chief is probably the only one here who will get the reference) you knew no matter how bad things got, Little Joe would always survive.
 
Morning everyone. I woke up to a notification I had never seen before on my N7. An ota sitting there waiting to be installed. 4.2 is nice.:)
 
Morning Back! Nice to see you Pup, love the new Pic of Evan, he is looking quite serious! Capt, I agree with you and Halon, Charlies character is indeed annoying. But I know what you mean in your comment to the Chief, back in the day, the good guys and the main characters were never killed off. In fact, on the rare occasions they were, they some how mysteriously came back with a story of how they were just lost, had amnesia, were held by indians, fell in a hole etc etc lol. Last Resort is interesting. We have only seen it twice and the first one reminded us of trying to jump into Lost, we were lost. haha. Morning Anti and Dread and welcome Nelson! Yesterday was a wash out here with rain, hoping today is better. We have four windows to install at one of the rentals and are trying to get it done while the tenant is out of town. Have a great Wednesday everyone!
 
Nuts, I knew I should have grabbed my tablet this morning! Now I have to wait to get 4.2 until tonight.

So the DNA is really calling to me. Not sure if I will be able to resist (I have always been a Sense fan) And with my new seat unable to get 4G again, and considering my fellow coworker with the Rezound always had much better signal, I am thinking it may be time to say goodbye to my Nexus... Unless you want to talk me out of it ;)

I'm right there with you Anti...if I could find a way to break even in the process I'd be getting a DNA in a heartbeat. My wife's rezound always has better reception. Battery life is just about as good as well. I've really been impressed with her phone and she hasn't had a complaint about it since buying it, which is amazing.

Edit: Regarding the 4.2 update...guess that's the one big downside of rooting and ROMming the N7...delays in updates. (not often you hear that out of rooted devices)
