Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Actually never had homemade before, but some local dairys' versions.
Maybe I'll give it a shot this year. :)
BB, ever had a breve? Coffee drinks with steamed half and half. Now that's decadent and super delicious.

I sent our gTablet (don't laugh) in for SquareTrade repairs because it wouldn't charge. Well they fixed it alright: they flashed it back to STOCK! :eek:

Great - with absolutely NO development for this thing, I'll be hard-pressed to find a ROM for it. Anyway, the Handango gMarket that they sported on this thing as a Google Market alternative is no longer operating, meaning NO APPS!

So - does anyone here have the latest (or at least one) Market .apk that I can try to install on this thing?

By the way: you guys who don't like egg nog are not alone... I can't stand the stuff either...

Here is a link for 3.9.17 - not sure it will work, but worth a shot.

You had it rooted before?

I am just hoping - REALLY HOPING - that when the full 4.2 ROM drops that the old stock 4.1 deskclock will be available as a mod. I personally cannot STAND the 4.2 deskclock...

YES I had it rooted and NO the .apk doesn't work but thank you for the link. Google Play installed fine, but it force closes every single time I try to open it.

Now I'll have to root it and flash some stupid FROYO ROM to it because I'm pretty sure that's where development ended for this thing...


EDIT: So the Viewsonic support site says that Google restricted the Android Marketplace to devices 7" or smaller for Android 2.2 and the gTablet is 10". So it looks like I am going to be working to get apps on this thing again :(
 
Chief, just convince the wife it's a great time to get a Nexus 10. ;):D

BB, you can order them at Starbucks (or most coffee shops). You may get a :eek: look though. :)
 
UGH - the Android Market was restricted to 7" devices or smaller for Android 2.2... that i likely why it keeps force closing on me.

So I need a Market .apk from the Nexus 10, or I will have to root again...
