Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Okay, folks:

In observance of Veterans Day, and considering that I've been on this site for exactly 3 years now, I thought maybe it's high time that you guys quit imagining what I look like. Is it time for you to add a face to the name? I leave that to your discretion: I decided to HIDE my pic just in case you want to keep on picturing me in your mind.

And believe me - after you see my picture, you might WISH you'd stuck to your imagination! :p

Can you believe it? Ten years of retirement and I can still fit in the uniform I mustered out in back in July 2002...

THANK YOU to all my fellow veterans! And I want to thank all of you for thanking us: I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat if they'd let me!

Superwipe is a utility that formats data, cache, Dalvik and system all at once in recovery. Just put it in internal memory, and in Recovery, install it. Then flash the ROM & Gapps.

There is also a handy little tutorial in there if you get stuck that you might want to consult ;)

I thank all our Vets as well. I have family that spans a few wars and am always humbled by the sacrifices our vets and their families make every day.

And Chief, that is quite an accomplishment to still fit in that uniform! And you look very distinguished. :)

Very nice pic Chief. And a large thanks to all vets and those who currently serve.

As another note, with the nexus devices launching tomorrow, that probably means 4.2.1 source code should be posted tomorrow or very soon I believe.
 
Morning all! My new SSD should be here today, my poor wife has been going through Bejeweled withdrawal :rolleyes: So will probably be requested to get that set up ASAP tonight. Other than that, not much news on my front.

Anti, I laughed trading your wife is having Bejeweled withdrawal. I have that on my iPad and its great.

Yeah she does the facebook one, and is very competitive with her friends for the high score... And she is not happy that the netbook we are using as backup can't play it well enough for her to get a decent score. :rofl:

P.S. So apparently the New Nexus phone and tablet launched today, and the general concensus is the launch is a complete failure. Google is apparently out of stock on the N4 already, and the N10 page is down on the Google site. It was also supposed to launch at Wal-mart today, but everyone who has gone to the store has left empty handed, saying there is a two week back-order... Maybe the delay of the Galaxy Nexus wasn't ALL Verizon's fault like so many of us were sure of back in the day :p

Yeah, Anti, looking at the Play store they're still listed as "Coming Soon". WTH, Google? Why can't they get this together? :banghead:
My only assumption is Apple has patented launching devices timely and successfully. :rolleyes:
 
Good Morning Everyone. Rainy day here as well, hoping it will clear up as we were going to be replacing windows at one of our rentals today. I hate when the weather does not cooperate,lol. I can't believe it is already time for Thanksgiving, what are everyone's plans? We are going to go meet my new nephew in Florida, can't wait!

We are in a quandry on what to do for Thanksgiving. Every plan we have made has fallen through so far, and my work isn't going to let me travel, as I am only getting Thursday and Friday off (have to work saturday). Guess we are just doing a quiet dinner at the house. :p

Yay for meeting the new nephew!

My mom does Thanksgiving so we have a houseful. The plus is that DSB is coming so while it'll still be crazy here I have a calming force to turn to.

BTW Nexus 4/10 launch in US at 9AM Pacific Time.

Thanksgiving is going to be split between my family and the girlfriend's family houses. It's always a ton of fun and TONS of food. I am beyond excited.
