If anyone hasn't had one yet try a hot chocolate with peppermint vodka! Delicious!

Thanks for the inputRazor, if you have a need for keyboard functions on a Tab, it really doesn't work well as a stand-alone. I tried to use my Xoom as a laptop replacement while I travel (TSA PITA, weight, charger, etc), but the Tab could not cut it because I am document-intensive. So if you need a lot of keyboard functions like page up/down, ALT-TAB-Shift etc, get a separate BT keyboard - or stick with the laptop ;-)
I don't really expect to use it as a laptop replacement per se, I probably won't use it for any sort of documents. It will be almost strictly entertainment, games, web surfing, some light Skype video chatting with people back home, etc. Unfortunately, I'm becoming more convinced that my laptop would be too heavy to comfortably lug around - plus, if it got stolen or damaged, I'd be devastated.OK, this has political ramifications, but is just a tech question. If the greenies and reddies think it belongs in the political forum, by all means move it there.
Does the technology exist yet to put a chip in new guns, with a broadcast signal in designated zones (like schools, malls, theaters, courthouses) that disables the gun?
I realize that if this is possible technologically, there will still be a long debate over whether this abridges rights, and how and how long it would take to implement, and whether bad guys can skirt the controls. I'm not opining on any of that. Just want to know if tech has improved to this point yet. And wonder if this could ever be a compromise solution between the extremes.

I've learned to be "city hardened", ignore comments spewed at me on the street. One quite surprising the other day!
Be courteous and kind to strangers, thank your bus driver, open doors for folks. I still believe karma comes back around and if not, your daily act of kindness goes straight to the heart anyway.![]()
Amazing how this varies regionally. In LA and NYC, walking on the street, you don't look at the people walking towards you or say anything. In Canada (at least my small town), you look at them and say hi, to complete strangers often, maybe even have a short conversation.
