Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Ha! No. :p
I was hoping they'd go with mine, Daniel. ;)
But, I guess that might have been "weird".
My middle name, Eaton, is the same as my fathers'. Comes from an old ancestor who we thought came over on the Mayflower, but later discovered it was something my grandmother made up. :o

Good morning everyone - its crazy that its Thursday already.

Dealing with tons of issues at work so I will be in & out today, but my car finally gave me its first check engine light over the weekend. Hopefully nothing serious - it seems to be driving just fine for now so we shall see if I can diagnose myself after pulling the code tonight.

Good luck with your car Stigy. My two Galants always had their check engine light on because of O2 sensors. Was so annoying.

Oh boy maybe mine will come in the mail today - I am stoked to get mine for work.

Glad you backed it BB - are they as awesome as you had hoped?

For those wondering: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1689824368/vavo-universal-stand-and-mount-for-smart-phones-de

Yes, they are. The cover is a little hard to pop off but that may be partially because of my nails. I'm ok with it regardless. It holds the phone really well.

Hopefully mine will get here too!

I hope you both get them soon. The email says about 45% have been sent out so I'll keep my fingers crossed yours are delivered!

Happy Holidays to my WH family!
We have arrived safely in Austin finally have Internet, and utilities... And getting settled. Arrived last Monday, and been working hard to get to the point of cooking a meal and sitting on the couch for an evening... I think it has arrived.
Just wanted to pop in real quick, and alert you all that I will be on back to my normal schedules tomorrow morning. Woo hoo... And Btw... Its freaking cold for us here... Been under 45 the entire time, rainy and icy. Was hard with no hot water or furnace, but all is on now... Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!

Hello from Moscow! Wasn't able to drop a line in here before leaving, so I'm hopping on the wifi here in the airport to pop my head in! We have a stopover for about two hours here before flying the rest of the way to Israel. I'll try to say hello again when I can, hope all of you are well! :)

Praying for a meaningful trip for you Razor! Be safe...

Great to hear Ryan, and ditto to you Razor! I would love to go to Israel someday, may even have a chance, as my company partners with Israeli Aircraft Industries in Tel Aviv.

Morning folks!
Speaking of Kickstarter, got another "update" from the Pebble team. Looks like they're making some "grand" announcement at CES.
Guess that shipping in Sept '12 was a little TOO optimistic.

Morning folks! Just checking in. Hope you've all had a good week! Haven't been around much but hopefully next week will be back to normal for me :)

EDIT: Oh, and general note on Check Engine lights on cars...ignore them, 99.99% of the time it's emissions related and usually either your gas cap isn't on good or your O2 sensor is bad. In my experiences, if something is REALLY wrong with your car, the Check Engine light doesn't even come on, lol.

I always thought Sept '12 was a little too optimistic, but I was kind of hoping for a 2012 delivery.

Can't in NY unfortunately, cars are mandated by law to have annual inspections and a check engine light on results in an automatic fail. It's why I had to give up my cavalier 4 years ago, there was nothing actually wrong with the car, but 2 different mechanics couldn't get the light to stay off, so it wouldn't pass inspection. It had to be something wrong with the computer, and it didn't seem worth it to fix it because the car was that old.

I do. Yeah we have retired the Galaxy and Astra, the G150 and G280 are much purer Gulfstream jets, as they were designed with our input, instead of just renamed.

Very cool. I'm at Cessna right now, but I've been a contract engineer most of my career so I've bounced around, but never at Gulfstream.

Cool! Yeah I have a few classmates from college that went out there. Cessna had had a rough time of late. Things starting to improve out there finally?

Yeah, they still aren't moving many aircraft, but they have the Latitude, Longitude, M2, and updated Sovereign and X coming online over the next couple years and that's what people are ordering, so it's looking up, but we're still pretty far down from the last high.

Yeah with the first 650 and 280 being delivered last month we are looking up for the next few years too. Although we were never as bad as yall...

Looks like Google Chrome to me :D

Morning all.. Back to tricks for us already... Or at least mostly back to "normal" whatever that is these days. Lol

Rant: really having issues with this property management company and the homeowner at this new place. Supposed to have been professionally cleaned, locks re keyed etc. It says so in the freaking lease.... Did that happen before we moved in? Nope. Did we find that out before we moved in? Nope. Are they now insisting that locks get re keyed when we are not at home during our first week of work? Yup. Seriously? Oh and the gate does not close or latch, and they knew we have a 70lb dog before we moved in? And now want to have some random handyman come fix the gate... When we are not home? Yup. Oye... Just fix this stuff and leave us alone... Especially after demanding double deposit and a huge pet deposit. Seriously.
/rant.
Thanks for listening.

Anyways, it's a beautifully, wet and cold Saturday here in Austin. Been wet and cold the entire time we have been here. But giving us time to get stuff unboxed and settled before going back to work. At least we can cook and have heat in the house now! And finally got my computers set up and running too! I am getting happier with this move daily...
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
