Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Having your weekends in the middle of the week really sucks. For a company that said it wants to be more family oriented, what the deuce am I supposed to on Tuesday and Wednesday? Most girls will think you are joking when asked, "hey,wanna go on a date Wednesday?"
 
My days off will get switched again in late April but definitely in May. And I'll more than likely get bounced around for a bit until I'm able to bid/hold a job in the shop. I really hope that job will have Fri., Sat or Sat., Sun. My chances at Sat., Sun. are slim to none for awhile because of all the people above me.
 
I'm going to miss this show. I'd say X-files, Lost, Wonder Years and Fringe have been the best TV shows(excluding animated), for me.

 
After watching the review for the Pebble smart watch on The Verge, I have this to say...I saw articles about a thing called the Htc Mini that is a remote for your phone and the Pebble smart watch, in my eyes, is the same thing. I laughed at both.
 
Hi!!!! Yeah, it's been one of those weeks where every time I try to get on the forums something else happens. So congrats for our 25k!!!
Hopefully this week will slow down some and I'll be able to be active again.
 
I missed everyone here!!

I'll be bouncing back and forth tonight between the forums and catching up on website updates for my friend (I didn't realize she went on a shopping spree for her scrapbook store!)
 
Hey all my fellow Gnexers. I am going to be purchasing a Nexus 7 soon and wanted to pick the brains of those of you have gone down this road. I need to get a case for it that can help protect it from a 5 & 7 year old.

Any advice?

Don't look for advice from me. Mine is smashed and my five year old son's is in mint condition.:rolleyes:
 
Morning everyone!

My carpool partner woke up late, so I had to drive myself into work. So annoying, I wanted to snooze some more. Oh well. :p

I hope no one in the Midwest was affected by the storms last night. Supposed to come through here starting around 6pm tonight.
 
Welcome back BB! Hope all is settling down..

So we came home to a nasty surprise last night. We had a short thunder storm in the afternoon.. Apparently our dog did not like it. And he ended up busting through a fence and got out of the yard... We looked for over 2 hours before we found him curled up under a tree, on the side of a very busy road, more than 6 blocks away from home. Was not acting normal, so we took him to the vet. Apparently did not break anything, but it looks like he was actually hit by a car. Some minor surface bruising, and deeper bruising and shock injuries. He stayed overnight at the emergency clinic, now I am sitting outside the vets so I can drop him off for the day. Needs to be observed and have pain medication administered. Poor guy. And my wife was basically losing it over the whole thing. Hard to stay calm about it at all. Hopefully he will be up and his normal self soon... But since he is an Australian Shepard, his favorite constant activity is to play ball... Going to have to put the kabash on that for a while. Oh and I have to seal up the yard too. No idea how I am going to do that tho... The fences are ancient.

Anyways, happy Hump day all. Hope everyone is having a good week.
 
Hi all - just stopping in to say hi.

I can't believe how busy work has got for me, but looks like I will have some downtime this afternoon to get on and chat for a bit.

BTW my Pebble is listed as being ready and they asked me to confirm my address. Hopefully this means I will have my watch next week, yay!
 
Sorry to hear that Ryan, but glad you found him, and glad he was not more seriously injured! Hope he has a quick recovery.
