Update on our dog... Home, stiff a little sore and slow but overall much better! Pill popping at its best... Expensive pills, but at least they are working. Poor guy.
Anyways... Hope everyone is planning for a safe weekend, (Go 49ers) and everyone had a great week!
 
Good morning all - TGIF & Happy Friday, woohoo!

1. LOL to the entire last page and a overall that's what she said.

2. Ryan glad to hear the dog is getting better, that's always good news.

3. Flashed JBSourcery 4.5 finally last night and a few quick questions for those that can take a few minutes to help.
a) The backgrounds of all the dialogs and stuff are supposed to be black right? They removed the gradient on purpose?
b) Is there a way to remove the pulsating glow at the bottom of the pulldown?
c) I have the RAM bar in my Recents menu and I only have 132MB free with no apps running in there. I have seen it get down to 15-20MB and that worries me. Is that normal for this ROM or do I have too many apps?​

Yayyy it's finally Friday and it's PAYDAY! For those of us who get paid once a month, January was a l-o-n-g month :p

Stigy, those would be great questions for the JBSourcery forum... I have no idea...
 
FWIW, I loaded up AOKP 4.2.1 MR1_build-2 and ran it a few days

Took off yesterday for a day in the field and by 12:30 pm, I was down to 18% battery. I don't believe I touched the internet once, except Touchdown fetching the mail.

On the plus side, the radio seems much improved, I'm able to make and receive calls like the old days, meaning on my old Blackberry.

Those on JBSourcery, What's your battery life like? I am not a "high end" user, just the phone, email, occasional directions.

I have to admit, I looked the blackberry over. I will probably stay until contract ends, then possibly switch a lot, Verizon to Sprint for the savings, and a new phone.

Wow!

I just heard that J.J. Abrams got tapped to direct Star Wars episode 7!!

I am just so excited that Lucas won't be involved in the directing or, especially, writing! Maybe we'll actually get some genuine acting instead of wooden Vader children.

Episode III was excellent, don't get me wrong, but I think the prequels could have been so much better.

I'm just totally stoked. The Thrawn trilogy would be awesome, indeed, but that means they'd have to recast the Solo and Skywalker roles, etc.

If they do Thrawn, I'll be excited. If they decide to jump further into the future with an original storyline, so that Ford, Hamill, etc. can reprise their roles as "mentor" figures or whatnot, that would be cool too! (I'll miss Ewan MacGregor, he was probably the best actor out of the whole cast. I don't see how he can be in it, though.)

I just hope I don't get hit by a bus or something before they come out!
