Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Check the list, scroll all the way to the bottom, did you make it to the one's yet? Yep, I'm not there. That thread was before my time.:p

Without looking I'm gonna guess that was the things not to do to a VZW CSR. haha that and the Hitler movie were I think the two most memorable posts in that thread.

I felt like I wanted a different color on my GNex. Here she is, disassembled, taped, and ready for sanding.

I'm thinking a matte white will look good.

ogod what have I done

I'm considering doing some blue "splatter" on it, but I'm not 100% yet.

The paint is a little wet in the photo, so it looks gloss, but the white is a flat white.

LG G2 Hands On: Killer Hardware, Software Dead on Arrival

this is like a developer got all hyped up on Jolt Cola and went nuts. It's not unlike Samsung's TouchWiz in that it's extremely busy and packed to the brim with features no one will never use. But it's worse. It's significantly uglier, with icons that look like something off a feature phone from ten years ago. And the useless features are even more useless. Haven't you always wanted to simply knock on your phone like it was a door in order to turn the screen on? No, you bloody well haven't.
Everywhere you turn there's a cacophony of settings in all sorts of random places. Swipe down the notification panel, and you're inundated with clutter that fills half the screen before you even get down to the notifications themselves. The power button seems to turn the screen off, but not back on (at least in the demo software). It's just bad UI, and it's a major disappointment. How could LG have not learned this lesson yet?

I literally LOL'd at that - PRICELESS!

No, as much as I love the G2, I think it's going to be the Moto X Developer Edition, 32GB, pine wood back, black bezel and gold trim.

Ginny is getting SO senile, not sure she can make it to November/December. No matter what ROM I run, she'll occasionally just "lose" my LWP and make me set it back up again. Just weird stuff. This poor Nexus is getting very squirrely in her old age...

I used to be lucky to get 12MBPS at the laptop with my old Linksys N wifi router. Now that the AC wifi router's in, I'll take 46MBPS any day of the week!

Ookla Speedtest - My Results

And this is with the same n-speed wireless card in the laptop. Everything's just... faster :)

Highly recommended!

Reports are saying AT&T has the customizations exclusive until November.

Those are some nice speeds - I should probably upgrade my wireless card in my desktop to an N-speed card too.

Hmmm.

So I activated Android Device Manager on my N7, I went to the website, it was located, and I had it make the N7 'ring'. Pretty cool.

My phone too!
