Galaxy Note4

Javi, I don't trust I and I never trusted that method you used to partition your phone just yesterday and that's why I sent you the app, the silk one for you to partition it with that one or at least to do it with them mini tool partition on the computer ..I didn't think you were gonna use the formatting thing comes in marshmallow.. I think that is the reason you are getting those errors why don't you uninstall it what you do you or undo what you did and do it with the silk or with the partition or at least with the apps2sd..

Hey have you tried the apps2sd app..I don't want to accept but that app has way way way more options compared to link2sd and is also way more complex and has some options related to the issue when mount the second partition extension..

Yea, I used them both at the same time links for apps and App2sd for vertical ram. App2sd is good but its also a kernel manager and is conflicts with my current kernel manager.
I knew of a couple of Xposed modules so Im testing them on MM. The first is "Xinternalsd" and the second one is called "obb on SD".

Did you send me the "Silk" app on Gmail or PM?

Yes bro, I thought you got it..since you sent pictures with it..then you explained those pictures were gotten off of the internet

I might have alreadu had it but if the app is called "silk" then definitely not.
I have an app called "Mega" since some of the XDA downloads come from that site. I know theres a way for me to upload files for public download if I provide a link. However, I have no idea how the heck to do that. I never use cloud services to upload my data but in this case it would be beneficial.

It's called Aparted bro..

Oh ok, I didn't or I missed that communication from you. Yes, it was one of the 3 apps I used before and your right its a good app. It parted my external sd with no problem. The updated version or perhaps its an add on app has the same icon but claims to have initiated swap vertial ram on my device with a tost message "success".

I parted it, but link2SD and App2SD need the scrips mounted at before boot complete. Neither function as intended without them. I did come across a featch in busy box that runs scrips but I am not sure how that is done with systemless. Another option is terminal editor in TWRP but I need to look into it a bit more.

Maybe

I have an idea..why don't you change the rights to Link2sd and convert it to system app..that might mount it's scripts while booting..

How are you doing with your inability to access your partition?

I haven't put much time into it lately. It was getting a bit frustrating but I plan on researching how to mount skips before boot complete with systemless root Im pretty sure there is a way. Maybe in a .zip flash with the scrips or manually placing them in system partition.

Its not as much as inability as I'm pretty sure that I can access both partitions if its visable with my file explorer. Its more of a matter of app data to external sd. Instead of data on internal sd. Its not just copying the data but running the data from external while keeping app on the internal. Since its part of the Googe changings of the Android OS its and that we are on systemless root its much more difficult to accomplish this. XDA has threads with different work arounds but non of them are specifically related to the N4. Mony of them have much more experience that I have. Some are even programers and know Java, Smali, and coding experience and even with that, the results are mixed. Im just one of thev"common folk" who likes to mode and port and enjoy learning that comes with that. I've also learned to back out if I feel Im not equipped for such an endeavor. Sometimes, later down the line, I get an idea and it works but sometimes its just too much and I move on. Thats why, I gave up on this a while back. The only reason I begain to take interest was because of the XDA .zip that enabled expandable storage but it did not have the results that I was hoping for. It was either all to internal or all to external. I want app to internal and data to external and the ability to choose on a per app basis. The apps I use regularly both on internal but the one I seldom use app internal data external.
For now I've moved on but I am still looking for a possible way to actually make this a working feture with my N4 but its not my top priority.

Nice paragraph brother!, I think it's an internal thing..
Look, in one of the methods I saw some guy doing it..with the formatting directly from the phone..he did FIRST unmounted the external sd card..then he went ahead with the rest..I kept wondering "why would he amount it to format it?"..any way, just trying to shine some light your way

It sure would be, yes it would. Its not a big deal with newer devices that have 8 or 10Gbs but on 3Gbs it would be a definite plus. :)

I'm in your same boat..Wi-Fi isn't my top propriety..but it would be nice..in fact where I headed soon I'm gonna need hot spot..

If Im not mistaken, didnt your hot spot work with the previous custom rom? If so, you can use ZArchiver app (file explorer) to look threw the .zip of thst custom rom without actually installing it and copy the service.jar and csc foulder to external sd. Then replace the service.jar with the the one you currently have and set the proper permissions reboot and check if your hot spot is actively working as intended.
If you are missing the actual hot spot settings from in phone settings, let me know.

Heres a guy trying to put app data to external sd on Stack Exchange.

"I can do the bind mounts -- and when I look at them with adb they appear to be correct. But the apps continue to write to the internal /sdcard dirs. I've also turned off SuperSu mount namespace separation in testing.

It's a shame that something that really should be so simple is such a PITA. Any new ideas? Thanks!"

He hot the scris mpunted and still didnt work on MM. F-ing A!!!! :(
