Galaxy S3 news and more !!

Geez! This thread was so active 24/7, now it's almost a desert...
Everyone is out there poking at their shiny new S3s, is that it? LOL.

Getting a little jealous here... Well, time to look for a store in Orlando that has one available today! :)

Don't worry guys I will be with you till you guys get the phone. Well technically I bought the phone but I don't have it. So I will share the excitement with you guys. Too bad you guys have to wait more :(

Wow what's worst having not purchased it yet or buying it but not being able to use it cause you don't have it with you. For me personally it would kill me more knowing I actually bought it and can't use it. hahaha
 
I called my local store few minutes ago, thinking they received it yesterday while I was going to work (afternoon), and they said "no" :/ tomorrow or Tuesday the latest. Blahh!
 
So... seeing as my brain is obviously not functioning today (some of you may know why ;)),
anyone can help me by letting me know which metroPCS location has the store available today (sunday 10/21)?
I've tried Hiawassee corp ---> NO
Sand Lake ----> NO
S Kirkman by Regions bank ---> No answer
S Kirkman by Wal-mart i don't have the phone number for :(
I'm not gonna try the Best Buy location, that'd be silly...
 
Hello, I have been looking into this phone and I plan on getting it. However, I have a ZTE agent on metro and want to transfer my number and account to the SG3. How easy is it to activate/transfer my account to it? I don't want anyone else touching the phone first than me. I read a few post ago that there were programming issues? How can I activate the phone myself?

Dial *490 on the SGS3 and tell them that you want to change phones. You'll have to give your number and the name on the account and your security code (which should be your birthday) and they will program the SGS3 over the air. Make sure you call from the SGS3 though...

Should I drive all the way down to Fort Myers since i can't seem to find it in Orlando? :laugh:

Try some stores in apopka my friend said he called some over there because he was curious & yea they had them
 
I got one for me and my wife. I'm going to be selling my s3 for Sprint this week due to the note 2 launching Thursday. I installed cm10 on mine, going to look into aokp soon too. Might look into overclocking it while I'm at it.
