Galaxy S3 news and more !!

So the s3 is being released for $350 with a $100 rebate? And its going to have jellybean out of the box??? That's awesome. Or is that my imagination being let loose.
 
It's not going to have JB out of the box. Samsung did say that they would gradually start rolling out over-the-air JB updates in October. I just hope that these phones will get them. If not, I'm putting CM10 on my phone.
 
FWIW just walked into a store today and the guy said $460.00, ICS (which doesn't really matter 'cause you know how we are), and Thursday is delivery day :) But I was looking at the Motion as he was talking lol.

I literally called 5 stores today and 1 answered. All day I tried calling. I knew Metro employees were pieces of ish but damn. They are plain worthless.

Basically. Still though. If there was an actual release date for the 3rd or 4th, they would have them ordered right? So they would know if it was this soon? Just speculating here.

That's the only thing tripping me. Unless they were instructed to shush up on the matter, I see no reason why they wouldn't know the launch date from this close seeing as they have to basically order a bunch of them from BP, and then wait for them to be delivered...
I mean, it should at least be available to them as an option in BP, right?

Any local and/or corp metro dealers around to let us know if the SGS3 is in BrightPoint yet? :D

Yeah Im not counting on anytime this week. I hope im wrong but we'll see. I dont see Metro announcing the phone's date the day before it goes on sale.

Metro isn't going to announce anything. You'll see it on sale on the website out of the blue sometime this month.
 
apparently if its going to be available thursday dealers will be able to order tomorrow otherwise nobody knows
 
the same dealer that said he ordered it said he hasnt been able to order yet and isnt sure if its coming thurs -_-

After worki had called some stores to see if they had an info and they told me any where from 429 - 499 then some said they already know its going to be 459 so just by that I already know they don't really know anything.

lol, Same here. My screen protector got delivered today. Waiting on the case. Should get it sometime this week =) Hopefully I get it before I get the phone though, based on some of these rumors XD
