Finally got to read our review of Le Diplomate (where I work) in Washingtonian, probably the second most important regional review after the Post. Whelp, they had quite a but of critique about the food but made SEVERAL mentions of how good the bread was. 
Said they'd love to just come in and enjoy some bread and a glass of wine. Yeah, I can dig that.

That's a first timer for me
It's mostly a southern dish. You take non ripe, green tomatoes, batter, season and fry them.... add a specialty sauce (of which should be spicy and creamy ) and whala..... a party in your mouth!
And since today is my AF birthday. I deserve a party in my mouth!

Seasoned flour I add a quarter corn meal . I add a tad of cayenne, garlic sea salt and pepper.
