Galaxy S3 Watering Hole

Dinner time here, our fun weekend has started :cool:
We're planning our route for tomorrow. Driving into the Ardennes, in Belgium, for the weekend. Perfect convertible weather: 75F and partially clouded. B&b is in an old, tiny railway station. Really looking forward to it.
 
Afternoon all. Brain up to it again :)

Actually, I am trying to decide if I should go with the new N7 or just get the Kindle fire HD for less. I know a KF is due for a refresh. I have prime, but I know I am not taking full advantage of this. Though I can access many features through my MBP but kind of takes the portability out of it.

The cash I save up front however, means some apps I will need to buy again, but there are not that many of them. As well as that, the locked down ecosystem applezon has in place (though not as bad as apple).

So lets see, I have bought 2 nexus 7s one dead, the other one eats batteries like the HTC thunderbolt (I don't want to hear factory reset, or wake lock detector or what not, its been looked into and the latest one has a new home). I heard the new one is having touch issues, GPS issues (don't you need data to for this anyway!?) but if I get a good device it should be good and I could do a ton with it. The thing feels way good in the hand which is one major reason I am drawn to it.

The Kindle, well, I am locked to amazon pretty much, can't customize it. The keyboard sucks, the thing seams awkward to hold like the iPad mini, but it will allow me to take more advantage over my prime account. But I do have a paperwhite that has issues with skipping roughly half the book flipping a page which kind has soured me on the thing.

I guess the new N7 gives me way more options.
 
I have 2 questions to ask .

1. why does my apps keep showing up on one of my Homescreens?


2. I've never used the " S voice or S suggest " , will any of those cause my phone trouble down the line ?

Know what happens when people find out the case on your phone takes 2 tons of pressure? They have a 300lb guy stand on it. and 3 other guys try to hang on to him.
 
Tried a OB Commuter once with my Bionic. Never again. Just have a fun TPC case on my S3. :)

For some tranquility; walk in the local park this morning thanks to photosphere.
