The leather like covering looks cool, but I couldn't have a phone that won't fit comfortably in my front pocket. Nice to see Samsung sticking with the SD card slot even though the phone comes with 32 or 64 GB of storage.

I'm still in love with my note 2 so not getting a new phone anytime soon. Plus I'm tempted to go for a nexus next time
Never had a Nexus but i can't say it didn't cross my mind a time or two

I haven't tried any roots, but would like too. However I love stock android.

Good thinking, use a device you can possibly afford to do without. thing is, I use all my tablets on a daily basis, so maybe I will get another phone for really cheap and learn to play around with it with various OS's.
I wanted to install Linux Mint or something on a Android device.
I know that there is one Linux (other than Android) that can be installed on a phone.

Really? Guys, you don't know what you're missing! No more bloatware and total control over your device are reasons enough right there.
And you can add further customization and get better performance as well. Just do your research, follow instructions and it'll be just fine.

Seems easy enough. But for me, something always goes wrong.

I'm waiting for a stable 4.3. Trim sounds great if it works.

I run it weekly. Not sure if it's just placebo, but seems to speed things up nicely.
