Always a fun topic to get folks chatting, what are ya'll having for dinner?

I will be making shrimp jambalaya, since it is quick and easy.

I did discover whipped cream vodka and put it in some root-beer last night..... OMG amazing I then had to try it in orange soda~ Good times my friends..... good times indeed!:star:

I think we still have some flavored Whipahol (sp) in the fridge. Stuff is so disgusting.

The Dreamsicle, as my husband calls it, is amazing. The marshmallow flavored vodka also makes a fabulous s'mores-tini.

The current rom I am using on my S3 has Google Now built in... all I can say is wow:) It doesn't have a personality like Siri... but it is much faster and much much more accurate.

On another note.... I think I have reached my saturation point with my current job:( I've decided to start looking for other opportunities. I just need to be careful not to pee in the pool until I have something else lined up.

Any of you have any experience/advice with applying to other jobs without risking the job you have?

As long as you don't do or say anything to put your current employer in a bad light (especially with them finding it out) you shouldn't have any issues. You are free to explore other possibilities etc.

Good luck with your search.

Interesting. I just made turkey sausage & chicken jambalaya earlier today. It was pretty good. I brought some to work for lunch tonight also! :D

1. Keep your mouth closed. What I mean is don't tell anymore at your current job no matter how good of a friend you think they are.

2. Act natural. Just keep acting as if its " all good " at your current job.

3. Be careful what sites you post your resume on as you don't want your current employer to find it.

4. When interviewing never bash your current company.

That's all I got right now. My brain is in a prime rib coma.

Thanks Treb.. great points. I'm not going to openly post my resume but I am going to strategically apply to local jobs. I'm taking the Little Big Horn approach and have sent a request to someone on Linkedin that shares a connection, is an alumni, and is a recruiter at a local company that has an opening I want to apply for.

If this doesn't pan out I'm looking longterm change as I don't want to leave CO.

After those pics from your weekend I can't blame ya.

Wait another 88 days until the resorts open and I start posting snowboarding photos!!!!!:smokingsomb:

I've lived all over the US (NY, PA, NC, FL, CO) and take ~20-40 business trips annually.... there is no place I would rather live.

OMG that looks good amigo !!! Looks like kymberlin has got a little competition as WH head chef.

I am up for any and all creative diversity .... That looks great ! Unfortunately, I can never figure out how to post pics on these forums..... :(
