Well the Summer fruit pie was :eek: cou*shop bought*gh but the Ice cream is a custard base, add into it alcohol soaked raisens/sultanas (soak for a week or so) plus the left over juice.

The Alcoholic fruit, is kinda/sorta an alternitive to mincemeat for mince pies, just choose dried fruit, like, cranberries, sultanas, raisens, blueberrys, etc etc, soak in alcohol (Morgans Spiced Rum or Cointreau are good. leave for a week or so and jar up.

The brandy butter, my dad makes, about 8oz icing sugar + 8oz unsalted butter, beat well untill light and fluffy and slowly add brandy while mixing.

Reminds me of the night I spent by myself in the bakery on Christmas Eve baking off a ton of bread for Christmas. The two ladies in the adjacent pastry area were making lots of pannetone. Yep, a TON of booze soaked fruit went into the bread, and likely themselves too! I'd visit in between tired bakes and they'd just giggle at me. :rolleyes:
Was a fun night anyway. Great memory. :)
