Actually, the more relative comparison is the Razr M, since similar size and still similar specs as HD. The ironic thing though is Moto really can not tout the display being bigger, since the fixed navigation bar makes the usable space 4"- same size as the iPhone 5.
Seriously, it would be false to call it an advantage. If anything, the iPhone 4" display with no capacitive buttons to touch by accident would be better.
That depends upon your view of on screen nav buttons. I know you hate them, but others, like myself, like them. To each their own.
The Razr M will always have a bigger screen at 4.3" vs the believed 4" of the iPhone 5. There may be some space taken by the nav bar, but the space is recovered in video playback. So in the end the the display is still bigger for some functions.
