Well.....it's football and as Treb so graciously pointed out, past my bedtime... Love y'all.

Hulk, keep your chin up
Dread.... please let us know when you find your wife...
Trent, enjoy your family.
X.... wake up, time for work!
And my dear Treb..... Love ya!

Good night my dear...sleep well. Waffles in the morning ? :p Please...:D

Not bad. Who knows when Sproles will come back & Bowe can play now. So yeah , worth considering.

Bowe also has more pts on the season than Sproles. If the current trade offer I have out doesn't get accepted this will be my next attempted move. I'm looking for buy low big return opportunities right now.

Thanks Bernie Madoff. ;)

I like your sales pitch. Let me know if you get good returns. Dude should take that though, good offer.

:p Haven't offered it yet. I have another trade I offered that I'm waiting to hear back on. Just looking ahead in the event it isn't accepted. D. Bowe is a chip in both potential trades.

Always thinkin' ahead. Too bad Bernie didn't :). Any who..your tires on yet ?

Yup.. couple weeks ago. While I think my current offer is fair... I'm not sure it will get accepted. But you'll never know if you don't go fish occasionally.

Sweet.

Yeah. Nothing wrong w/ trying right. As long as your offer is in the ball park, sometimes people can make offers that can just down right " P " you off.

Morning all

K'lin, thanks for the wake up call, only 15 mins late :p

Treb, you need a more healthy breakfast, waffles and 5 hour nrg isn't doing your beer gut much good :p here have a melon 0

Man I forgot how boring work is, wonder what random crapbi can Google today?

You have a baby sitter? I thought you had to be older than 13 for forums  :p

I pity you for not having a car that is ridiculously fun to drive to the point of causing withdrawals when you can't drive it. :p

;)

I think I have a new bromance. :)

See??? He has an ACURA! Those are FUN to drive too. I used to own an Audi with Quattro and a 5 speed manual with a beautiful turbocharged engine. It had a sunroof, black heated leather seating, and a Bose surround sound system in it (not your household overpriced Bose, actual good sounding Bose with a sub in the back!)

I sold it to a friend and the wife and I bought a brand new 2007 Prius. Yeah, not as fancy schmancy as an Audi, but it had a lot bigger back seats and cargo room, and got twice the MPGs. It was a joy to fill it up at the pump, especially next to big trucks. In 2007 the 2nd gen Prius was still kind of novel, and people would actually point, whisper, and sometimes snicker or grin at me when I pulled up in my Prius. I would simply start fueling (after they had already started), finish fueling, pay, and wait for them to finish fueling. Then I would point at their receipt and snicker. Boy was that fun! :D

When we finally stopped driving 30,000 miles + a year, we sold the Prius and got something with more room for the kids/dog/etc. All this time our second vehicle was my wife's little 4 door Saturn.

When it finally died, I replaced it with my MINI. I like it better than any car I've ever had, including the Audi, and that says a LOT. :)

G'night everyone!!!

G'night to you too!

Nothing beats Bose. Had it in my '89 Accord SE-i back in the day...very nice. :D

Well, my MINI stock speakers were blown (at least one of them) when I bought it, so I replaced them with Infinity Kappas. And the stock deck happens to be Alpine, so my sound in the MINI is every bit as good as it was in that Audi, despite having no sub. Kappas are the most amazing car speakers ever, especially for what I paid. Amazon had them on a sick sale.

On a more solemn note,

MY MINI WASN'T READY TODAY. Argh. They say it will be ready tomorrow morning. Good motivation to go to bed, eh? :o

But yeah, Bose car stuff sounds great. Even the stuff GM uses sounds good. My 6x9s in the MCS rock pretty nice though. I want to get the iPod kit eventually. I actually have a really nice motorized face pioneer deck with the iPod interface (although I can't find that stupid custom Pioneer cable...) It came out of the Saturn when it died. It has a full color OLED display that is just sweet looking and tons of fun, not to mention a 13 band EQ that sounds great.

But when I pulled the stock deck out of the MINI, I discovered it was an Alpine, much to my surprise. I almost stopped right there and put it back in! "Oh well", I said, "I want my fancy Pioneer deck back!" After finishing the job and getting everything hooked up properly, I found that the Pioneer sounded great, but only realistically about 1-2% better than the Alpine. What a waste of time! I put the stock deck back in and am just happy as a clam with it, and plan to sell the Pioneer to help pay for the MINI iPod interface. If there's no benefit to going non-stock, (this Pioneer lacks all the bluetooth phone goodies), then it's best to stay as stock as possible. Some day I might get another deck that does all the bluetooth and iPod goodness, but today's decks are boring and dull compared to my Pioneer, another reason to just stay stock.

Anyhoo. The 6x9 Kappas really put out some serious bass, and I have a total of six tweeters in the car (I left in the stock ones, as they weren't blown and sound just fine.) Boy oh boy is my MINI fun to drive. And it will be 20hp more fun to drive tomorrow than when I bought it.

Why, you ask?

Since I had to buy a new supercharger anyways, I bought one with the 15% reduction pulley this time (up to 20hp extra to the wheels). Wahoo!! I also bought some new Bosch quad platinum spark plugs (they were also on sale on Amazon, probably much cheaper than you're thinking!). So my little Mini Cooper S should be running quite nicely tomorrow. I can't wait. Time to go to bed so I can wake up and go get my car. :smokingsomb:

You guys and your fancy cars! ;)
Actually, my boss gave me a ride home last night in his Audi. A4? He was using his fancy voice activated system for his phone. I know it's nothing that crazy, but we have a simple Honda Fit. Great little city car and lots of cargo space for how small it is. :)
Morning folks!

Dread, did you find your wife?
Good morning, all

I need coffee... be back.

Ha, I called her and she yelled at me "Did you not see my text?!?!"
Yeah, I didn't. :o She was at the movies with a co-worker. (a movie, I would NEVER see ;))

Interview went great. I'm going in on Tuesday to watch a service and see how they run their kitchen. To be honest, I'm just not sure they can pay me enough, but I'm not giving up hope yet.

I think X feel asleep.. What hospitality. No coffee?

May need to find a new house guest. Hulk, what do you think of Texas?
