So, Thanksgiving is upon us. My meal plans are coming together quite nicely. Wish P'Lin was here this year, but all is well.

Turkey and ham have been voted upon and I am so glad I have a huge family at this point . Life is wonderful!

Time to pour yet another glass of wine !

Helloooo ?

Anyone ?

I'm spending thanksgiving alone. Not the first time.. Won't be the last.

So, one of my kiddo's friends (19), lost their mom to cancer this year. I am hosting the 4 of them and my children. Keeps thing in perspective really... 19 and raising a family is rough. Remembering we have our family is the "reason for the season".

He has 2 sisters that I am picking up in the morning to help me cook. I think it just as important to be a part of the process as it is to be in it... So, hopefully they enjoy it ! @Hulk, I laughed at your post last night since I have altered my entire menu as they do not eat pork. It was very fitting.

Come on by. I will be alone, and with a ton of company (no P'Lin).

Hello guys & gals. :)

Hey Metro... !

That's extremely noble of you k'lin. It doesn't deviate from the image I already have of you which is a Very caring and compassionate and empathetic person. Strong too I might add. I will be here in NY still though. If I were in FL I would be sitting down to a large meal with the "family" and fellow congregation.

I am okay though. Turkey sandwich actually sounds good. I believe AM might bring me back a plate.

Hey K'lin. That's very noble and kind of you to do that. Makes me feel all warm inside. A very good deed there. :)

X tra mayo please... and a good dill pickle. (Not the store bought kind)

Well, I will be right here to keep you company!

Don't bogart the chips...mannnnn. :D

Chips? How about adding a avocado, cheese and a few chipotle peppers? Ok, a few black beans and sour cream...and just for giggles, a red onion , chicken ,cilantro and tomatoes?....

Crap, dinner is over and now I'm going to have to workout an extra 15 minutes in the morning for merely thinking about nachos!

Thanks Treb!

Who wants one? Seems like a misprint ;)
