Galaxy S3 Watering Hole

From 70F tomorrow to high fourties on friday.
Going north on friday, to wake up with snow on my b-day saturday.
 
Flying to Alesund, on an isle adjacent to the Geiranger Fjord in Norway. There for an extended weekend in a rented cabin with great views. Just me and Hubby64.
Always in search for the perfect place to write my memoirs ;)

My S3 just finished an update and rebooted. No idea what it was. Still on 4.1.2.
 
May take my sisters note 1 and sIII and see if we can turn them into an S4 in a bit.

Her SIII has multiple file systems, nested in 0 folders. Not sure how this happened, but its totally messed up and needs some pro help. Needs a total reformatting. The note 1 is EOL. No development for it.

If we get her one, it will be left factory. No rooting. No hacking. Just plain samsung.

I got her looking into reviews since we got about a week before we can get our hands on one. The S health is one thing she is interested in, but still got to wait for accessories to come out for it.

Or she may just give up on Samsung.

My honeymoon w/ the Note 8.0 is already over, going to sell it to a buddy of mine ( if he does't back out ) or ebay it. I think I'm just not a tablet guy.

I felt that way with the iPad mini. First day with it, it was like, "Cool! I got an iPad" the next day I woke up like I had gotten drunk the night before and work up.... well, you know. :ahhhhh:

My mom really digs the note, but the price, I can't believe the price they are asking for it!

I love the theory of a tablet.... just haven't got into it myself yet either.
I was looking into the S4 for a friend of mine. I love the camera being 13MP. That alone may inspire me to jump the broom?

Everything else is tit for tat IMO. (which doesn't amount to much anyway).

The price is a little high, then you add a Sqaretrade warranty to it, it puts you right at darn near $500.00. I figured dump it now while its new ( so to speak ) so I can get most of my $$$ back. It really is a cool device, but was quickly becoming a paper weight. Just wasn't for me.

I spent last night & this morning watching every S4 review under the sun, the S4 is sweet, but is it sweet enough to cash in your S3 or a Note 2 in my case ? Will check it out in person to see, but going down in screen size & battery size has me leaning toward not making the jump.

The camera is very nice though ;)

Yes sir still got the Note 2, but dumping the Note 8.0 ;)

If it wasn't for Aj I wouldn't know half the stuff I know ( phone or weather related ;) )
