Not enough data to know. 2 yrs ago was all time epic and Abasin stayed open until July 4th weekend. Last year sucked - lousy early season and early closing. This year started out slow and then it pounded from late Feb until early May. Ended up being about par with historical average.

I vaguely remember it? Ha! It was a cross county trip I took returning from CA to IN. We went west the south Rt I40 (Arizona was my favorite) and I70 returning. I'd have to say Utah was overall the most beautiful state. When folks thing about the Grand Canyon, well that's was A LOT of Utah looks like. :D
Out west, we went through Petrified Forest NP and on the return, Arches (absolutely amazing!).
The passes through CO were a ton of fun. Good thing we did it when the roads were fine as my little Honda Civic was not happy with the mountain climbing. :o

And, for the record, while I like the interface of the new desktop Google Maps, the darn thing is SOOOO slow. I know my laptop is old, but dang, it slows to a crawl zooming in and out and panning. :mad:
 
You guys really need to get on board with Orphan Black. It has to be the craziest, most twist-filled show around, and the lead actress is so good at playing the multiple roles you have to remind yourself its the same person sometimes, even though she looks exactly the same except for hair and wardrobe. Revolution is almost over, then Falling Skies starts back up for the summer.

Hey hey all.

Thought I would drop in and say "hi"

I have been busy busy this past week. Well, busy for me. Two storm chasing trips, one all over Colorado earlier last week which resulted in a bust, coming home late and needing to be back to work early in the AM, then another storm chasing trip, also resulted in a bust last night, Made it all the way to Edson Kansas! We turned around shortly after that and by the time we where half way home we learned some of the areas we where near, started to get interesting weather and evidently a tornado touched down in a near by town that we actually took a rest in.

I was so blasted tired yesterday, it probably was a good thing we were headed home when things started to get interesting, but still left me kicking myself.

Then upon getting home, news of a family friend's passing. It was not totally unexpected, but still. I had only met the guy once, but he was a prominent member of my Mom and sister.
