Galaxy S4 Cases and covers!

I saw a post a while back specifically for the Trident Aegis case. Got one in red and black. I love it, but I have pretty average hands, if not slightly smaller, and with the case on I find it a little difficult to type one handed. Even a month later it's still not easy. Not hard, but one handed typing is definitely more difficult to me then when I had no case. I'm looking into a case with decent protection and a slightly smaller profile now.

I got burned by 4 knock off Spigen Slim Armor cases. Thankfully Ebay refunded my money and pulled all the sellers listings of that case.

They fit like crap and now that I have a real one, the difference is night and day. I don't like supporting fraudsters either. And the price on the counterfeit ones were only a few dollars less than the real Spigen ones. Buyer beware.

Scammers on eBay? Shocker. Or you could just order them from an authorized, more reputable dealer. It would reduce the chances of getting a fake.
 
I've heard otterbox is making one, called the armor series. and i know lifeproof is finally making one for the s3 so the s4 should have a lifeproof brand case within the next year... lol

Well I tried to buy locally as in the state I live in. I checked the reviews and people said they were good. Figured I could save a few days shipping time since Spigen is in California I believe. So I tried to go in state so it wouldn't take 5-6 days to get it. I know Ebay has scammers and counterfeits, but the seller had very good feedback. Oh, well got an original now and I love it.

Haha... I was worried about that. That is exactly how I hold my phone and I know this pinkie fatigue that you speak of. I ordered the cheap version just to see if I like it. Sounds like I will be in the same boat.
 
Another with a Spigen Neo-Hybrid, metal slate. Looks gorgeous but don't have much faith in it's ability to protect the phone. But I bought it for its looks, the S4 is a phone that needs to be shown off and the Neo-Hybrid does just that.

Did you confirm it's a legit Spigen case by entering the serial into Spigen's serial checking webpage? Lots of cheap knock off's are being advertised as genuine Spigen on eBay and other websites.

One of the nicest things about the Tech Armor Ballistic Glass screen protector is the home button. I decided to just leave the home button as it was, without applying the sticker, best thing I ever did, no more presses while in my pocket.

Now, if there was just something I could do about the pesky power button. Every time I pick up the darn phone with the neo hybrid case on it, I bring it out of sleep.

I second the nomination :-) I just got a warranty replacement. Lifetime warranty is nice (even if it really is 2-3 years)

I bought the Neo Hybrid, GLAS.tR and aluminum home buttons together directly from them and the codes all came back as legit. I notices some bubbles in the finish, didn't figure it would be a problem. I may put my Trident case back on and repaint it my self with a new color not offered by Spigen. Humm... maybe black chrome. Been looking for an excuse to break out the old airbrush since I stopped working on model cars in the mid 90s when I got my first real car.

But, I will say to test the GLAS-tR I was carrying an all metal knife and change in the pocket with the phone. I guess the Neo Hybrid gave up against that pretty quick.

Do you like that screen protector? I ordered it on Saturday and it will be here tomorrow.
 
to me,S4 is too thin and seems fragile,i use a heavy duty case with full protection,Safe design....Problem it make my s4 BRICK
