Root Gallery is empty?

My gallery wont show any of my pictures. So I changed the save location of the camera and copied the pictures and put them on both SD storage locations and still nothing.

What am I missing?

Try Unmount and mount your external SD card(in your settings)
Think is is a SD card issue but not sure-I have the same problem at times also:mad:
 
No nothing. I do have an extra SD card laying somewhere. Im gonna try that and see if it works. Then Ill know it's not a card issue.
 
I've tried another SD card and that hasn't worked. Is it possible to actually re-install gallery? Or could it be that it's another directory other than the DCIM directory?

if you have root explorer go to system/app and scroll to gallery apk click it to re-install or if you have a backup of your rom you can try to flash that. and sorry was not trying to be rude was just trying to help.

Ahhh. Didn't think of that. No worries. I take shit out of context sometimes.
 
Well the "instal" through system/apps didn't work. It said app not installed. So I just uninstalled it through Titanium and re installed it through there. Nothing. Still doesn't work.

Is there an older version of gallery.apk out there that I can try and install and see if that's it?

Or the newest gallery.apk would work, and I could do a fresh install of it?
 
Okay so I've even installed 2 "Gallery" type apps from market and neither one will show my pictures. I went and hand deleted all the cache. I even installed the pictures in multiple random places throughout both storage locations. Nothing. This is really bothering me now that even an outside app wont show them. But if i go directly to the images on the SD card I can open them up no problem and view them, and they open in GALLERY. WTF? Dammit this is aggravating now.

i had that same problem i just wipe data and reflashed my rom again
 
Reinstalled ROM. Gallery works. Now Im gonna put my phone back how I had it and see what happens. Maybe I can narrow down what the problem was if any. I had my own theme and what not that I had installed so Im just wondering if it was something like that? We'll see.......

Hey it happens...trying to re-root an Accend this am was giving me fits...bottom line..DONE;)
