ill agree with that, the launcher is shit.
 
your gonna hate me. It was interesting but i just didnt like it. I played with it, set it up, themed it etc. Just was too fussy in appearance for me, even with my trusty go launcher home screens

Meh, you still can't change the grid size which is something I like to do, also you can't put desktop visualizer icons in the dock as for some reason it seems to think that the icon is a widget and doesn't allow it. I do however like the 4x4 music widget, would be nice to be able to get that on a different launcher. And su, atleast you gave a try, and you KNOW its not for you :p
 
Hmm fair dos! Ive heard whispers they are going to add scrolling widgets on MIUI soon so Its just matter of time before they add other features... Radio comes out today!
 
Its a normal FM radio buddy... We had it back in the Froyo days but they took it off when GB came out so its been loooooooong overdue!

Ha ha ha, I must have flashing on the brain, I thought you meant phone radio, lol
I'm defo gonna come back to miui I think, just need to get the hboot flash done, then I might even try a custom mtd, any chance you could put a list up for what you removed from the rom?
 
I used SUroots list as a guide to what I needed to remove and keep:

Then I stripped it down further by removing these:

Lastly I removed A2SD (Dark Tremor script) found in "system/etc/init.d" look for 04a2sd and then removed everything in "system/bin" and "system/xbin" that had a2sd or apps2sd in the title...

Edit: I also removed some notifications/ringtones/lockscreens/wallpapers found in the media...
 
I got it down to 94mb but I dont know what else to delete :confused: I could steal another 30mb from system by shifting over to Oxygen hboot but I need somebody to make a flashable mod for mountdl script so just awaiting some response on MIUIandroid now....

Could you not just try the script in the tool box and see if that works?
 
Just seen Dans post, have to see what miuiandroid comes up with,
PS Dan, have you had any sleep? I noticed you were playing late last night? Lol, I was 5 minutes from being late this morning, damn phone, I swear I am totally addicted to it, lol

I was up late restoring to redux. I'm on lates so dont have to get up until 7:45 so got 7:45 sleep ;)

Not sure what oxygen has to do with anything. You dont need to flash it. Its just a script. If you're s-off (wouldnt need the script otherwise) you can just paste it into /system/etc/init.d with root explorer. Not everything needs to be flashed ;)

Oxygen may have their own solution. This script works on Redux fine. It dodnt work for me on Miui but that could be down to 1 of many problems I had on miui anyway, so cant guarantee the issue was the script at all.
