Agreed, I find tremendous value in their work. I'm just accustomed to the friendly and helpful attitudes here, and felt a little put off by being snubbed over there earlier today.

Alot of them don't like questions they see it as mainly development not for help. They even made an anti "noob" video and tried to have the site place a questionnaire on sign up to prevent "noobs" signing up. That's why they changed it so you could download files without signing up. I don't condone the term noob I'm just repeating what they had said a while back on Google+. Kinda turned me away from app development. I had a few in mind but didn't like the community. I may still do at least one. I'd really like to recreate my pc clone of old school Zelda.

I think you need like 10 posts before you can contribute in the development section. I think that's a bit dumb because there were questions that even I could have answered before I posted my requisite 10 in random help threads.
