Root Get Liberty 1.0 here :)

mine says that too, but i think its supposed to say that. thats the version of Android that the rom was built off of
Thanks for the quick response. I'll have to do some more research with the sensor bar. Did another reboot and haven't talked on it since. Hopefully it's taken care of. Using elixir as a test I'm not getting the responsiveness I was seeing before in the app from the prox sensor but hopefully it still works.

So, I installed Liberty after sbf'ing and it looks like the boot animation from Fission is still over riding Liberty's...anyway to change that? I tried to change through the Liberty settings but no dice. Other than that, amazing rom.

make sure you don't have a bootani in data/local/. this one will override one in system/media/

Other than being awsome what is the real advantages(toolbox aside) of this over GJar 2.5. I'm new to roms so I don't keep up with features.

The toolbox - which means being able to install add-ons, change themes, make tweaks on the fly - is pretty much the main advantage to this over GJ, for me.

Toolbox is a deal sealer.
I mean it is what Rooting is all about, "the freedom to make change to your device".
I am also not sure how much faster or smoother my DX can get. BTW under really heavy use from 8AM, I still have 20% battery.

The battery does seem to last way longer for me but it also seems to take a lot longer to charge, at least it takes longer while in use.

this is a great rom with great tools that come with it...i'm definitely buying these guys a case of beer...ha, my phone is running faster than i thoought it could...i'm impressed!

If I want to try this ROM, but Exchange email is a must for me, am I able to get Corporate Sync from the tool box or would I have to use a third party application like K9 or Touchdown?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Hey guys just flashed this rom and like it pretty well. Everything went fine, I like how easy it is to change themes.

One thing though, battery manager is no longer in settings. I had my battery manager set to maximum battery saver before and it worked great, is there any way I can get this back?

Thanks

I flashed this over GJ2.5. I have Corporate Sync working and it came pre-installed in Settings--> Accounts and Sync--> Add Account

I'm not sure if this is from GJ or Lib but I think its stock from liberty

Love the ROM, but terrible network issues. No 3G, or should I say constant switching from 3G to 1X. Signal is poor, where there is no bars showing, is constant varying from none to a couple.

Now, I switched back to Apex ROM, and solid 3G, and better signal! Go Figure!

Just thought I would mention the problem I had with it, while trying to use it!

Matt

Does anyone know how to get rid of the the Liberty Boot Logo (that overtook the Motorola one)? I looked in Data/Local but there was nothing there.

I have switched back to Apex due to the phone in landscape rendering (or lack thereof) issues. Great, speedy ROM and I LOVED the toolbox, but doesn't fit my needs right now. Really good stuff except for a couple minor annoyances that are my issues, certainly not all.

Anywho, any help with replacing that Liberty Logo would be helpful. Just want it back to stock.

FYI. I had to SBF my phone so I'm starting back at scratch and it's still there. Wiped cache, wiped data/factory reset, etc.

Link is in the post below. Just flash it in clockwork. Doesn't wipe data or anything.

Droid X Custom Boot Logo I'll create - Page 5 - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum

There are also a bunch of other logos you can choose from.

I have not tried it yet, but in the toolbox there is a choice of different boot animations that you can use. Give it a go.

They have the stock one in the liberty tools app, I install mine custom ones through bootstrap, but the other way is easier

Really if you care about the motorola stock image at boot, I would recommend just changing it back using the toolbox BEFORE you flash back to any other roms, since that carries over obviously. I personally love that it does that, but will probably keep a backup of liberty (if I switch) just so I can come back and switch it back fast.

Cool thanks!

Wow this looks nice to? Are you using it? What are the differences say between this and clockr mentioned above by Aggie?

I believe clockr is just a clock (never used it though so I could be mistaken). MinimalisticText gives you the same simple text look but you can use it for Battery, Weather, Date, Clock and its very customizable.
