[ROM] The Eagle Has Landed!!!! - Liberty 1.0 1/11/11 - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum

I now highly recommend if your Liberty1.0.zip did not have Toolbox already in the Appbin. uninstall DL new liberty1.0.zip, wipe cache and data, Reinstall. Make sure you sync contacts to google.

If the first set of mirrors do not work for you, scroll down and try the others.

Update: For those wondering if you can use watermark 2.5 with this ROM, Yes it is themed in the Toolbox.

Servers were overloaded:
If you are having issues with the file/rom and had very slow DL speeds, The file could very well be corrupt in some parts. Try re downloading it. your DL should only take up to 10min's.

P.s. Loving the screen density, Rocking a 200.

They're asking people to hold off on downloading/cancel if you are downloading so they can get mirrors up. My download was going to take 10 hours, I canceled it.
 
I am waiting for them to get the mirror's up so I can get this already.. Did you read on it?, I am stooked!

I have been running Darkslide 4.2 and prefer it to all the other ROMs available. Liberty however has me very excited to try out. I just completed my backup and am just waiting for the mirrors to go up. I should have been in bed 4 hours ago but this roming stuff is like crack!
 
Can't even d/l for some reason. Traffic probably. Well try later.

Edit: nm. It was the fault of the new af app. D/l' ing now! :)

I wouldn't install any themes made for GummyJAR on this ROM, even though they might work, you will most likely remove some of the benefits this new ROM provides.

I just downloaded it, took around 10 minutes with slow connection at work.

I will post a mirror in a little bit so people can download it hopefully more easily.
 
Just wondering about Exchange support, does anyone hook up to Exchange with this and if so does it work straight away or do you have to tweak?

By stock you mean the stock image of 2.2 that can be found in Rom Manager?

And I forget: Do we need to mount system when flashing this image?

I mean if you (hopefully) made a backup before putting any ROMs on, flash back to that, then install. Or just wipe data and cache and install over Darkslide and you will be fine.

Don't mount system before installing.
 
Someone post a youtube of it so that those of us at work can see this beauty in action until we get home later tonight. Pretty please?
