Not sure how legitimate it is, but in theory it sounds like it would work...

But there is a battery calibrator app that supposedly wipes out the battery log file that deems how "worn/used" the battery level is...

Try it and see!

2nd day on Bread - first day of course I was using it heavy, honestly like a new phone or at least rom, battery didn't do too well - this is coming from a romed froyo with minimal blur, my battery would easily last 48 hours with light usage. Yesterday it didn't last 8 hours, I began to regret the update but today with moderate use it has been unplugged for 11.5 hours and sits at 50% - not to shabby, not to shabby at all imho

It seemed to me that a day or two of settling in occurs on this leak, after that, (it may be the extra playing we do on the first day...) it seems to settle in nicely and battery life is pretty good.
