Root Gingerbread IS ROOTED

I will be willing to, but I am downloading it over 3G and only at 10%, this morning the first version took me about 45 minutes. The way I look at is that if it does not work I will just have to SBF back to .340 again anyway. I don't have any apps updated on my phone except D2 Bootstrapper and the TBH app.

Do we need to use the D2 bootstrap with this?

No triple dog dares, if I am the first I will try it, if not and someone else is and it works that will be great for all of us to know.

Yes the DX Bootstrap will not work you have to use the D2. I had this saved on my phone from when I tried the leaked motoblur update.
 
Has anyone tried using the maderstock zip to go to stock then re-root, flash recovery, then install gb? If i'm not mistaken maderstock is supposed to flash your phone back to stock .340 right? I'm going to give it a try, worse thing that could happen would be I'd need to sbf anyways right?

hmmm I can't get quickclock to show up in my market. I purchased it but it's not there. I'll try wiping the cache and data for the market and see if that fixes it.

Edit: nope that didn't fix it. It still isn't showing up.

Edit to the edit: Yeah! TiBu came to the rescue. I remembered that I had backed up the app a few days ago. It is installed and I am working on OC'ing now.

Nice, I'd rather patch it than have to do this all over again, I just got done setting everything up the way I want it.
 
Well, I didn't like the looks of the green battery icon with the blue, black and white icons in the notification bar so I pulled the icons from the Apex Revolution theme and changed them with Ninja Morph.

Anyone have the apk for Quickclock? Data and cache wipe don't bring it back in the market....

Nevermind. Just going to go with jrummy's oc

Module will not load for me. Tried latest module also and it just won't go. Any ideas?

It's already been patched, if you downloaded and installed the "dxgbrooted.zip" then you are good, but if you installed "Monster_2.3.3_4.5.573_updater_Rooted.zip", then Moto recovery is broken.

I know, I think it was mentioned earlier that he was going to patch it so those of us that installed the initial rooted GB don't have to start over...unless I read something wrong.

You are correct. Or you can SBF now and use the updated file to fix it now.
 
what's the deal with the report yesterday that wireless tether brought up a screen that said sign up for tethering through AT&T?? I saw that they mentioned it might be b/c this GB ROM was actually from the Atrix? I've been busy the last couple day's and haven't been able to keep up. I just read through all the posts in this thread and things seem to be going swimmingly so far, enough so that I will update later this afternoon. I'm interested in getting my quadrant scores up over 2000.

also, anyone used GoLauncher yet?? Steven I'm looking your way cause I know you love it as much as I do.
